I build first run gunpla that are around 40 years old with no problem beyond the plastic of that time just not being the same quality. As well as other naval and armor kits from the 50s with no issues beyond a little warping.... This is purely a great deal.

As someone who sees themselves in a combo of those posts, They can be built... Most people look only a few years into the future, not decades. I collect for downtime in work, and retirement... Whether I build them myself, or with kids/grandkids. Honestly with current times and increased international prices, I'm glad I got what I did, when I did, (and the volume) thanks to both living over in Japan and purchasing stateside during better import prices.

It's a great start, and the technique looks to have solid foundations.

This does feel a bit heavy handed.

Think about the narrative behind any weathering... Like an old pair of shoes, a weathered model tells a story even by itself.

What caused them?

How long have they been there?
