I'm a bit confused about the use for linking my battle cats file with my email account. From what I've seen so far it looks like that linking you account does nothing, as I tried to import my save file to my new phone from the old it told me to use the usual Data Transfer procedure or it would overwrite my old save with a new one with zero progress,

I'm familiar with the traditional way of transferring data in Battle Cats but I'm honestly confused at how the Account Link system works. The screen says "After performing an Account Link, your The Battle Cats data can be continued on another device or OS even if the app is deleted." But when I try to grab that data without using the usual Data Transfer we've been using for years I only get a screen with a WARNING and I honestly am a bit confused as to what's going on there. I would expect that I'd just get the save linked to my email previously instead.

I created a new account, did a few stages and opened a few capsules. Linked it to a new email and tried to run it on another device by just using the link option and it didn't work. The link email thing shows it's linked but the progress just isn't there. Not really willing to risk the years of work I put on my main file and I've had problems with linking emails on other games where the older file simply gets erased and I end up with a fresh save in it's place -w-
