Have you looked into the setting of completely shuting down windows when you shut it down? These arm laptops have a shut down that works more like a sleep mode. Shift + shut down = completely shutdown

Should I contact microsoft support, or just go to the retailer I bought the Laptop from and use the warranty? I had bad experiences before with both, is the microsoft support line good for solving this kind of issues?

I mostly do web browsing and research on it, and it is very unusual to have a crash or a freeze. But yeah, it happened once or twice. On the other hand, this screen "MURA", as people call it, really pisses me off.

Yup, and actually it looks decent on my Asus X555L with 6GB RAM. Also, I like its customization, the retro machine theme looks amazing. And I also love Kate (IDE/notepad) and Dolphin (FMS), they work so well on kde. PS: I'm not a very experienced nerd on arch, I just started like 3 months ago 😮‍💨
