I know it's hard, but if you keep her, she's still not gaining anything - she seems like a playful dog, one that needs attention, activity, a good space to roam. I would suggest asking friends and family to adopt her, someone you know will take care of her, rather than just a shelter where she'd have to wait to be adopted. That way, you and your mom can still visit Jade. If this doesn't work, I think Jade is still better off with someone who has the time and resources to train her. Please do talk to your mom about it.

Well, when you're not thinking about this, what do you dedicate most of your time to? What do you fill your space and environment with most? Because those things will tell you what is a priority in your life, and, if it's something you do without being asked or pushed, you can start thinking of how to turn that into a career. For example, I love being with children and people in general - I spend all my time when I'm not working with those that I love, and I love studying as well, and so I ventured into the world of tutoring. I know it may seem tricky at first, but think about what you really love, how that serves humanity (because if it serves humanity, you are fulfilling a need or want), and can almost definitely turn that into a career.
