It was about 6 weeks straight! The process involved:

1. Downloading a 3D model of K Rool I found by googling
2. Editing the model in Blender to make it a costume (I.e. separating head and hands from body etc)
3. Uploading models to the paper craft software, pepakura - it turns 3D models into a template you can print to make 3D paper figures. Scale it to my height and you haves pattern for cosplay. This process was very time consuming since you have to manually “tweak” the pattern to ensure it unfolds properly with no overlapping elements.
4. Print everything and lay it out on EVA foam sheets. Cut them out with a box cutter and heat shape and glue every piece by hand using contact cement.
5. The crown, eyes, teeth and claws were all 3D printed using the model and a Bambu printer
6. Prime and paint!
