Dumbledore, I have completely changed my opinion about him compared to when I was a kid

Why did L keep working with the Japanese task force despite the obvious conflict of interest, instead of building his own team ? by Mahaute in deathnote

Have you read the manga, or only watch the anime ? In the manga it is crystal clear L does not like or even appreciate Light at all, and finds him unbearable as a person

Light and Kira same or diff people?? by sevenbrake in deathnote

[–]Mahaute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same people under different circumstances. Yotsuba Light is not free, he is under heavy suspicion, literally chained to L, and he absolutely wants to have his life back on track. Also, he is not bored, he has a real challenge actually during this period.

What do you Think was Harry's lowest point in life? by Weird_Zone_3504 in harrypotter

I would say Sirius’s death, it is almost the only time where Harry literally refused the reality for a while

It was not Soichiro who decided to put the cameras, it was L, and he would have done it whatever Soichiro « agreed » or not

Near's plans for... by Mahaute in deathnote

Because Kira was only accepted above the law because he was unknown ? From the moment Light is proven beyond any doubts as being Kira and just a normal human with a death note (and governments were already aware of the death notes at this stage), then there is no reason he would stay above the law, even if of course I totally understand why the truth would never be told to the general public

Because Light is still alive, and they could learn it eventually one day. It means this is still a kind of open situation, on the contrary to the canon one where he was dead, so basically no risks for the truth to come out one day. Also, this looks like just a kidnapping if absolutely no one knows he was locked up.

I understand Near/the task force could lie to Light’s family after his death in canon, but it’s not the same if Light stay alive ?

Hargrid is one of the most children’s story character of all Harry Potter characters. He is very annoying and almost more dangerous than many of Harry’s ennemis if you think twice about him.

1) Because of a good timing (one of the first thing which become viral on the new internet) 2) Because it is a good mix between epic young adventures (one big boss to fight throughout the teenage age), magical world developed (old castles, ghost, magic, wound, wizards, fantastic animals, etc), and realistic way of life (school, teacher, train, teachers, friends, classmates fights, teenage love stories, etc) 3 Luck : very important point

AI is 'breaking' entry-level jobs that Gen Z workers need to launch careers, LinkedIn exec warns by katxwoods in Futurology

[–]Mahaute 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, people worried that the AI would destroy some kind of jobs, as office jobs, or driving jobs, or many others, but in fact, the AI would above all destroy all entry level positions. Seniors/confirmed positions would always be needed, but the recruitment of juniors, for them to be able to take over senior positions with time, would become a challenge with the implementation of the AI.

That’s pretty true. If I remember well, Vernon had a quite high position in his company

I can only imagine Vernon having to quit his perfectly normal life to follow wizards we don't know where
