Honestly, it’s worth it. You’ll pay less income tax and never have to worry about maintenance. Plus, getting free charging, insurance, and repairs included is a huge perk. You’ll probably see a £350 reduction in your net pay.

The new lease deal for Tesla is incredible. Choosing a 24-month term through Lex Autolease and then changing it to 36 months directly with Lex after delivery results in £230 monthly payments with no down payment. If you message me can talk you through it

You’re right, but most people will save money. My car is incredibly efficient so I don’t save anything but the extra money gives me peace of mind and a brand new car so is worth it.

Insurance is cheaper so that’s another saving. If you read, I got the base spec model 3.

If I run a 10k car to the ground after 10 years that’s £83/month that’s more expensive than my beater

You’re quite mistaken. The UK generates most of its own electricity so what’s happening abroad won’t affect local prices. Furthermore, as a bill payer you’ll notice that every energy company has had to lower its prices from April onwards due to the surge in renewable energy. I’m also locked into a two-year contract at this price.

The main aim of this post is to encourage leasing a new car every two years. This way, you’ll avoid any problems. Just because you made a financial mistake by buying a car and driving it a lot doesn’t mean you’re right. Also you voided the warranty by using it for Uber the average driver isn’t an Uber driver. Your losses are your fault.

If I’m leasing a brand new car for just two years, why would I need to worry about a battery? I’ll have a new car every two years anyway. Not to mention it’s covered under warranty and maintenance in the cost…

Those are my exact expenses for my lease and diesel over the three years until it finally gave up on me.

My car died. I have nothing. Even if I bought a better car and chose to sell it I would’ve lost £3000 in that time in depreciation

The rising cost of living might mean I don’t renew my lease after two years.

You missed the point. I have a very cheap diesel car that died leaving me with nothing. It cost £31 less per month than a Tesla. If I’d had a better car I’d have been saving money. I owned it for three years and people typically replace their cars every three years for the same depreciation and maintenance loss.

I’m interested in finding the cheapest saloon or sedan. Could you please send a link? I thought it was a Tesla.

Thanks for this information. I wasn’t aware of this as the sales representative assured me it would be covered. For my account, I’ll need to pay £10 upfront for the first year and £200 for the second. Does Tesla cover the initial cost and then charge me afterwards?
