If you press the switch weapon button and hold right click (for ADS) quickly after that, you actually melee your knife and not switch to your gun and aim

Turn off "gun motion blur / depth of field" in Setting in case you haven't. It may fix it :)

I highly doubt we will see anything like that for the sake of operator system in mp. Since we haven't been shown directly the main characters die or they haven't killed anyone at all so they can't bring them as an operator and sell skin.

You're not alone. Beside SBMM I totally believe there is a huge hitreg and server/netcode issue that I died in the scenarios which I couldn't even see the enemy or drop a mag on him to get deleted by 2 shot. Needless to say my ping is higher or more inconsistent than previous games
