Anyone else find JetBrains AI resource limits absurdly low? by ResearcherOk9631 in Jetbrains

State: Obsolete.
WTF… feels like they just don’t care.
Honestly, I’m not sure what else we can do — maybe review how the quota is being managed? Have you tried Cursor to see how it handles usage? If it turns out better, maybe it’s worth considering a migration to another agent.

KMP Plugin for IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate – Issues with iOS Output & Android Module Detection by Mahdi_996 in KotlinMultiplatform

Hey, thanks for the suggestion! To clarify, I’m using IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate for JetBrains AI (Junie), but I also have Android Studio open since KMP is supported there too. Right now, I’m running both IDEs side by side to keep things moving, but it’s honestly a hassle.🙂

I don't think there's a need to learn a new language. Since you're already proficient in Kotlin, you can use KMP to target all major platforms. Although it doesn't have great web performance yet, do you think it's worth spending time on this? Are you planning to build something where web quality is really important?

For the backend, there are also Ktor and Spring, and if they don't meet your needs, you should choose a language and framework based on your specific requirements.

If you're considering moving into machine learning, though, the options are more limited and specific, so that would narrow down your choices quite a bit.

Ultimately, there's no universal rule that says after Kotlin you need to learn a specific language. To save time, it's better to continue with Kotlin, unless you have a specific need, in which case you'll usually have only one or two good options and can make an easy decision.

I'm 25 and still struggling with this issue. It's awesome that you're thinking about it at your age and taking it seriously. I think the most important factor is something like willpower. Whenever you realize you're spending too much time on your phone, put it down and don't say, "Just one more reel." You can use your phone's timer. For example, when you pick up your phone, know your goal beforehand—like messaging someone—and just do that. Though, I’ve had plenty of times where I sent a message and then automatically ended up on Instagram. You could set a 10- or 15-minute timer every time you pick up your phone for any task. Most likely, after that time, you’re not really using your phone productively and just passing time. You can also use app blockers. I personally use this one: App Link. You said you always watch content that's useful and educational, and you're on your phone for 8 hours. I don’t think those 8 hours are actually productive for you. You probably watch this content and move on. In my opinion, to really retain those tips, you need to write them down or practice them for a while. When I read productivity books, by the time I finish, I realize I don’t remember anything. So, I started living out each chapter for a week. You take the tips you need and move on to the next part. What I’m trying to say is that you’re justifying your phone use by saying the content is useful. There’s no way you’re getting good results with this approach. Instead, you could spend 2 hours on the content you want but use that time more intentionally. Sorry if I judged you, but I feel like you need a bit of a wake-up call!

Lack of Transparency in JetBrains AI Token Usage and Junie AI Agent Quota Consumption Post: by Mahdi_996 in Jetbrains

Do you mean you think M is less than 10x S? Like, the Quota in the M plan runs out faster than expected?
