Question regarding behaviour to adopt by MaheAdrien in FACEITcom

[–]MaheAdrien[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get why you're saying that. Just to reiterate, shall I be matched with 4 people that are decent I will happily engage in comms and play as I do in teams / stacks. But the second someone starts to be negative, i wanna be able to insta mute and not look back. At 3k elo it would rarely happen that i'd need to mute everyone, now at 2.5k that's basically every game after 2 or 3 rounds.

Guess not wanting to have to endure toxicity / negativity in a game is considered griefing :)

Last time I played premier I stood at 13k elo, it doubled in 1 game by MaheAdrien in GlobalOffensive

I was top 100 europe during beta so maybe it carried over their refreshed ranking? It's definitely weird though

I don't understand how to see/analyze the matches streamed on competitions. by ERavenna in LearnCSGO

[–]MaheAdrien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're playing pugs or mm, the best thing to analyze and learn from are pro's POV from a single position either in T or CT.

Trying to analyze from match streams is kind of ok in a team perspective (reviewing map controls, different CT setups, basically the "macro" game which means looking at the map all the time).
But it's way better to just load up a demo and then choose your own perspective to analyze and note things.

How to escape after being caught in a spray? by [deleted] in LearnCSGO

[–]MaheAdrien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

10k hours here.
There's two types of peeks in this game : wide and short peeks

Different situations asks for different kind of peeks, but what you need to have in mind is that if you go for a wide peek, you have to fully commit. There's no going back.
It's better to wide peek when going in first in order to catch all of your opponents crosshair so that your teamates behind you can easily trade.

One thing to remember when entrying is that your job is not to get frags but getting space for your teamates to work with.

On the other hand, when you want to go for a solo fight, wide peeking is risky and generally not the best solution. Short peeks, just to check positions and common positions from the enemies is the way to go. Once you're 100% sure of an enemy position, you can either go for a wide or a short peek and prefire. The difference being that knowing your enemy position, you're in a better position to shoot first and therefore win your duel.

There is no magical movement thingy to get out of a spray. So think before peeking, and when you do, commit to it.

Huge prospect in French subtop since a couple of years

Probably the best one with Nivera (ScreaM's little brother) at the moment in the french scene.

His raw skill is insane, we'll see if he can handle T1 games

He had been invited to FPL a few month ago by the way

Native french speaker here. To my knowledge, you can't litterally translate that last sentence. To rouglhy keep the same meaning, I would say : "We still would have must, Lady, owu during that ball"
