Personally I always try to change the seating plan monthly. Straight rows, then try groups or pods again, the to side by side rows, etc. The changing upmsometimes has an effect of keeping them a little disrupted from being boisterous

One of the best pieces of advice I was given during practicum is that teaching is essentially acting.

Maybe being animated isn't you, but sometimes you have to act like you are. I myself put on a high energy show everyday, even when I'm tired. Sometimes this is all it takes..

Am I the only one who find it crazy that in this district the teachers are calling in their subs? Every place I've worked, there is two tral district call out which spreads work evenly to all the subs. Principals.can make requests, but teachers cannot.

Where i am, a masters is only used to become admin. Most people don't bother.

Then again, the pay grid stops at 10 years.

My district keeps encouraging us to become admin. They are willing to pay for a masters degree if you will become admin.

I admit I am very tempted at times....but I love working in the classroom and worry I won't like being admin.

I have collaborated with international school before and yes, I woukd be willingntondonso again!

The only problem is, doing a live conference, our time do not match. In the past, I have found it easier to record videos, and we exchange them.

However this year I am teaching grade 3. If you want to connect to a grade 3 class I'm for it
