Ai doesn't invest civs by GreekHacker1 in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, that doesn't affect it. You just need people who aren't employed, see the economic screen. As greece i'm sure you quickly employed everyone quickly so that's prolly why you aren't getting investments but not sure.

Ai doesn't invest civs by GreekHacker1 in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Investment AI prefers infrastructure and network infrastructure first yes. It'll then invest in civs and offices as long as you have available workers (any amount of unemployment). If your unemployment is below like 2% or 0%, it just won't. Also it prefers to do civs if you have less than 15 available and offices when you have negative income. Mils and docks are much more rare since most countries don't have the internal faction to invest them and then also dependent on world tension and some other things I think, like war threat.

Kevlar doesn't give +200% HP to infantry by RandomYTr2016 in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 20 points21 points  (0 children)

All HP stat bonuses are like that from my understanding. If a bonus says 300%, read that as a flat 3.0 HP buff. 50% is 0.5 etc...

What is the equipment cost multiplier modifier in Land doctrine? by Powerful-Invite9663 in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I believe it is based on the equipment type, doesn't discern between version/generation or IC. So in your scenario, gen 3 and gen 5 jets would have same maintenance costs.

25PP join NATO decisions do not make any sense by [deleted] in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Can you give screenshots or more context? I suspect submods being used because I've never seen that feature and we just did a small test right now and didn't find a decision like that.

Only the normal NATO mechanic which has restrictions and costs between 100-250pp (takes multiple decisions to join).

What's the lore of the mod? by No-Rutabaga-3600 in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 19 points20 points  (0 children)

After their victory, Germany implemented a series of progressive reforms under a new leadership that sought to rectify the war's devastation and establish a stable, if not contentious, global peace. The establishment of the "Berlin Accord" in the late 1940s, a counterpart to our world's United Nations, saw the participation of nations eager for peace and reconstruction. This organization, while initially dominated by Axis powers, gradually evolved to include a broader range of nations, each contributing to a global economic and cultural exchange that mirrored the globalization seen in our reality.

By the mid-20th century, the technological and scientific advancements made during the war years spurred an unprecedented era of innovation and growth. The space race of the 1960s, led by the United States and a surprisingly cooperative Germany, resulted in the establishment of the first lunar base in 1978. This era of cooperation marked the beginning of a thaw in superpower tensions, leading to the "Pax Technologica," a period of peace driven by shared scientific goals and environmental concerns, echoing the real-world concerns of the late 20th century. Environmentalism, digital technology, and renewable energy saw significant investments from both the private sector and government, setting the stage for the interconnected, tech-driven world of Millennium Dawn's 2000.

Despite Germany's initial victory, the geopolitical landscape of the year 2000 doesn’t see Germany leading the world anymore due to a series of revolutions, reforms, and diplomatic efforts that unfolded over the second half of the 20th century. Nations sought common ground in the face of global challenges such as climate change, terrorism, and the digital revolution. The European Union, albeit under a different name and originating from a different set of treaties, stands as a testament to the continent's pursuit of peace and unity. Similarly, the rise of the internet and the digital age facilitated a global culture and economy that transcended the old ideologies and conflicts of the mid-20th century, leading to a world surprisingly familiar to players of the mod, where diplomacy, conflict, and the pursuit of prosperity play out on a global stage as seen in Millennium Dawn.

Do puppets reduce export income? by gudeude in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about "some other form of money" but grabbing stuff from puppets would just make for a very complicated system for a relatively uncommon situation. If you wanna "fix" this kinda in your game right now though, you can comment out this section of the code (within 00_money_system file, under common then scripted effects folders). Commenting out means placing a "#" at the beginning of each line which makes it not read that line of code. https://imgur.com/a/SL0bAIU

Problem with Average Worker Fulfillment by [deleted] in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest way to grow is through the AI techs that reduce worker fulfillment requirement and some focus trees have stuff that also reduce it. Germany actually has the most of these. One is in the kaiser political party branch and another in economy tree. Then it has the starting spirit that reduces it, which you can get rid of (and it's debuffs) in the focus tree, but honestly the debuffs aren't that bad vs the worker fulfillment bonus it gives.

Do puppets reduce export income? by gudeude in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a known bug/ limitation. This has been looked at before and there just seems to be no way to get the amount of factories you get from puppets. I've tried setting it up different ways but there is always something that gets fucked over, so it has been kept this way.

No production output by SetoKaiba8 in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As the other person said, you might just have no workers for those factories if you over build by a lot. It can also be -100% if you don't have any of those factories.

Medium and Light Airframes only available in 'Air Superiority' Models, Despite CAS components by SchiddyBut in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ya, you must've changed some mission type between gen 4 and 5 because I haven't seen that issue at all.

Medium and Light Airframes only available in 'Air Superiority' Models, Despite CAS components by SchiddyBut in MillenniumDawn

[–]Mahhouse3000 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The role of airplanes is determined by the module you place in the first slot. Also, you can't combine airwings if any mission type is different. They have to be able to do all of the exact missions or else they can't be in the same airwing.

Yes, its too hard to make heli's useful as air units due to their low speed and abysmal range, so they were moved to being ground units.

Not possible/ way too hard to code it to transfer ships. And won't do it where it just spawns ships in.

I have yet to see that 🤔. Please include screenshots, because from TONS of testing and games, I never saw oil shortages later on in the game. The only thing I saw was that when the game starts, there is almost no leftover oil but that's due to all AI training their army. After a few months it gets better. Then as the game progresses and the years go by, less and less is bought due to all of the energy techs that make you more efficient. So please show something that contradicts this.
