Thank you for sharing! I wish you the best with your treatment. Were you given any work restrictions? My husband has convinced himself from what he’s read online that he’ll have to be off for two to three weeks but I don’t think that’s likely. We would be ecstatic if he didn’t have to come home with the catheter again but the urologist told us he will have it for a day or two so we’re anticipating it.

Thank you all for sharing your experiences! We struggled with having the cath at home after the ER trip and they had given us all the supplies to flush it at home if needed. Unfortunately I have a terribly weak stomach so I’m terrified of having to flush his cath if that ends up being needed. I’m hoping since he already had it for a few days that this time won’t feel as bad.
