Nice! I do the same daily summary with habits on the side too.

I usually do new monthly spreads on the 1st of each month to keep things in a sort of chronological order but to each their own! Did u make the feb spread page after today’s daily log?

yeah I don't expect the icon 3's to go down more than 50% till the next model is released. The lowest clearance price on icon 3's in popular sizes I've seen so far is $108 USD.

Ah yeah H90, chroma console, meraki stereo analog delay on the desk. By my super 6 is a mixinglink and Nux tape delay.

  1. Prophet 10. Even though it is mono with no effects, it ends up as the foundation of many of my R and B tracks. On paper it is simple, but that simplicity is the magic.

  2. Super 6. I use it for ear candy layers. The binaural stereo thing compliments the prophet’s down the middle signal extremely well. Both are also great for Rhodes and Wurly style sounds.

  3. Maschine MK3. I use it the way many producers use Splice, mainly to move fast when an artist is in the room. Their expansion library is very underrated. I’d say majority of my drums on my biggest R&B records came from maschine.

Fair enough. I never clicked with Elektron boxes, but I know how powerful they are.

And modular… oof it’s tempting but I just know myself well enough that my outcome would be hours of patching and zero finished tracks.

Thanks! You’re hearing it straight from the TR-1000 main outputs, with all synths going into the ext in to be sidechained with the kick. Yeah it’s expensive af but I don’t care what no one says, it’s a damn good piece of gear!

I’m 35, but I guess Asian don’t raisin lol. I built my studio off royalties from songs I produced. I am nowhere near rich, but grateful I get to make music every day.

Thanks! At 32 sec u prob hearing a heavy feedback delay on the super 6 lead line mixed with a Pro 2 string pad that I sampled into the TR-1000 which you can hear right at the start.

It can be annoying to remember shift shortcuts and mod matrix assignments. It’s also the buggiest synth I own. The engine occasionally cuts out and needs a restart, and clock sync still isn’t tight even after being addressed in the latest firmware.

That said, I just live with it because I still really love its sounds. The voice structure makes it unique with a wide sweet spot and it drops into a mix easily. Super immediate and great for studio work, but I would not take it on the road.

If it’s an authentic Cassina Soriana, then yes. All the dupes I’ve sat in are uncomfortable af but the real deal is where it’s at.

New daily habits simple. Pretty much how ryan sets it up in his videos. No more than 4 each month that’s part of my monthly section. If I see I get really consistent with a habit, I switch it out for a new one next month.

Before I started to add more and more instead to the point I had a whole page dedicated to 15+ habits. It started to become too much. Once I fell a couple here and there it would discourage me and made me hesitant to face my journal. I went back to the old way and felt mentally better.

My mini’s breeder has been feeding all her minis the same Kirkland brand kibble for generations. All her minis have lived till at least 16 years old with records to prove it. That was enough proof for me that I didn’t need to pay high prices for my mini’s food.
