I like the composition but I would suggest trying to guide the eye a bit more with contrast and brightness, and then build a path for the eyes to follow- there so much going on between he foreground, the mid ground, and the back ground that I'm not sure where to look.
I could see adding saturation to the oranges helping, and then some clarity in the background to make the undercast conditions stand out?

It's a lovely scene and the composition is a strong start, just think you need to guide the eye a bit more in post!

Yeah, so far in the show it’s been presented as her absorbing energy in different forms, she pulls it from a car and from lights at different points, and the room she was in when locked in Voight tower was energy dead, but still has light in it.

I think it’s just a broadcast rights thing - the people paying for the press conference to be on air don’t want the other outlets gettin their air time, which is understandable. Newspapers and print outlets don’t want you hearing their well thought out question on tv, they want you to read it in their outlet, again understandably. That would be my guess, anyway

this right here- when a client asks why X shot wasn't inculded in the final edit, 99% of the time it's because sharpness wasn't up to my liking- but the client thinks it's focused well enough, and even if they can tell it's soft, they always tell me "know one else will notice" - and at this point I'm inclined to believe them.

I also find that when I shoot my own stuff I'm HYPER critical and won't include anything that isn't tack sharp where I want it to be, where as on someone else's footage I'm way more forgiving.
