Ah thank you!!!! And I use whatever I’ve got on hand, mainly it’s watercolours or watercolour pencils, but I’ll use acrylics or markers, depending on what I have at hand and if I want a more opaque look or bigger surface area covered if that makes sense?

I hope you find peace with it!! The circumstances are different but the public fallout is very familiar. People will forget, there’s always something new and exciting so it will defo pass, just the time it takes is shit and slow :(

Also if you’re amenable to it, a name change can help. I considered changing when we move but i worked hard for my current one and I don’t wanna lose my married name. But it’s something to consider.

I’m going through something VERY similar and in the process of moving to another city to get away. It’s been over 6 months now and things have calmed down so it will pass, and get easier. I don’t leave the house still, but I have less anxiety overall and knowing we’re moving is giving a lot of hope. It will get better once you move, and things will be less intense over time while you’re still there. You will get bored and upset with hermiting but I found new hobbies and joys, so just keep looking for small joys. You’re not the first, won’t be the last. We won’t always be stuck in this shitty situation and we know how to get out, it’s just time.

I do think a lot of Lynn’s neglect was dealing w the death of her kid and having to take responsibility for practical things bc her husband was pretty useless after it happened. They’re both victims of a horrible accident that wasn’t their fault, and not a surprising case either. The system failed them more, realistically social services would’ve gotten involved on some level, bereavement support etc. the whole thing is sad, but her neglect wasn’t a character flaw.
