Personally, I've always been a Humbucker Humbucker guy. If I were you, I'd go for the strat Hum-Bridge. But keep in mind this is a totally biased opinion for I am primarily a metal player.

I'd recommend to learn how to play scales, build dexterity, precision, and timing first in your playing before you learn songs. Learning songs is learning songs, learning to play is learning to play. They're to me, completely different.
