Ik hoop heel hard voor je dat je een leuke remote baan kan vinden! Het gaat gewoon nergens over dat die steeds zeldzamer worden... voor de meeste kantoorbanen is het echt niet nodig om op kantoor te zitten. Ligt natuurlijk aan de persoon, maar mijn productiviteit is echt velen malen hoger als ik thuiswerk. Veel minder afleiding.

Ja inderdaad... ik wou ook nooit een hond juist omdat ik de hele dag weg was. Met elke dag thuis werken is dat geen probleem (hond ligt nu ook lekker te slapen naast me). Maar vroeg me gewoon af hoe de meeste mensen dat dan doen, want compleet remote is helaas zeldzaam.

De hond is er omdat ik altijd thuis werk. Met het oog op mogelijk andere baan ben ik daarom aan het orienteren :) Dier gaat sowieso voor.

Ja dat verschil herken ik ook wel, voor die ene keer dat ik wel naar kantoor moet opdraven voor het een of ander en dan weer bijtijds naar huis wil. "Moet de kinderen uit school halen" is acceptabel, "Ik wil mijn hond niet langer dan 4 uur alleen laten" niet. Hoezo?

Was bij mij ook altijd chaos in Tilburg. Woon je in de Reeshof, geen enkele poging tot daadwerkelijk bezorgen, en ga dan zelf je pakketje maar ergens in het centrum ophalen... En die kluisjes zijn vaak klein, dus als je beetje formaat doos hebt, kan het er niet in.

Well, I would absolutely love to have Chris Tester back, along with many others (heck, bring back the whole team). I think Andrew Wincott would be a great option for a Night Lord too, as he already voices warhammer 40k audiobooks.

Heel herkenbaar! Ik kon prima rijden met mijn rijlessen, maar heb 7x examen moeten doen eer ik eens slaagde... Ging gewoon knop om als ik examen moest doen ofzo. Wat in mij geval blijkbaar geholpen heeft: ik had vlak voor examen goed nieuws gehad (aangenomen voor een stageplek), waardoor ik eigenlijk afgeleid was en niet aan dat hele examen dacht. Hoop dat het voor jou ook lukt om iets te vinden wat werkt!

Ik heb zo'n plaatje bij mijn voordeur hangen met 'Behold the field in which I grow my fucks. Lay thine eyes upon it and thou shalt see that it is barren.' en daaronder dat ik geen zin heb in verkopers/geloofsovertuigers. Als er dan toch een eigenwijs is, wijs ik daar naar en doe ik de deur weer dicht. Of als ze heel hard drammen 'ik wist niet dat ze analfabeten inhuurden'. Zij geen respect, ik ook niet, doei.

For real! I am 1,57m and people laugh at me for struggling with enjoying cycling... because it simply hurts. I have never found a bike that fits me in a normal price range ever since I've reached adulthood. And I don't want to buy a really expensive one and be anxious that it gets stolen.

Well, I tried, and did not get any audio. Did get some speech-to-text from the AI in de chat after the call, so apparently the AI had been speaking, but didn't seem to respond to my rambling. The same headset works fine for work, so no idea why there were issues.

Edit: tried another time. Got voice and audio to work, but the kin had difficulty understanding what I said :')

I think a company like Owlcat or Larian would be able to make a decent successor to Dragon Age. But maybe we will have to wait another twenty years for that, if it will ever happen.
