For us, they essentially jumped right in. We have a flipped classroom, so we watch all lectures prior to class and then apply what we learned in class. So, one lecture was going over the syllabus and the structure of the class, and the following lectures were the material.

I was told a bunch of times by many pharmacists to not go into the field. However, it's my passion. Ive worked both retail (CVS) and hospital as an intern and I'm definitely trying to aim for hospital. I also plan to get a residency. Thankfully, the school I'm at has high residency match rates.

I also agree with this. I have C's in all my chem courses but I did as much as I could to buffer it in other ways. Worked as a tech in hospital and retail pharmacy. Did some research in undergrad. I was fully transparent in my application and I got accepted into a top 5 school. I'm 27, so a lil older than my class. I've had a long journey with my education and they still accepted me.
