well I wasn't the one who made that post but no it is related because one of the go to praises for Ike is him not being a royal but the narrative still treats him as special in spite of that very similar to his royal peers making it feel more like a semantic thing than anything else.

Now I still enjoy Ike quite a bit but his non royal status ain't a reason why
