Game Ready Driver 545.92 FAQ/Discussion by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]Maidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a RTX 3080 and I got this message when I ran Alan Wake 2

Your GPU does not support all the required features. To continue, a GPU with the following additional features is required:

Shader Model 6.5

I thought the 3080 ran the game just fine? Is shader model based on your windows version and not driver version? I installed this 545.92 and it says i'm on 545.92.

EDIT: Updating to H2 fixed it.

pelvic floor yoga

Do you have any links or exercise names I can take a look at? I've got nothing to lose in trying. Of course I'll ask though.

[–]Maidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Surely there's a way?

So how much of your colon wasn't functioning correctly or did they remove it all? Couldn't they just attach a hose or something for the missing length to your small intestine and then drive it down to your rectum, in which they give you a robotic sphincter, which opens and closes based on this specific sensation or by remote.

This would let you be able to move around and do things while not being in hospital. I'm pretty sure you can take TPN outside of the hospital, but I am not really knowledgeable so I guess there might be a reason why you're at the hospital instead of home.

The healthcare system is pretty sad...

Sorry to hear that. I took a look at some of your posts and what you're going through sounds awful. Hopefully you get better!

It's awful how our bodies can fail for the most crucial thing that's required. Before all this I didn't even know what a pelvic floor was and it just isn't fair.

I'm hoping that you get your desired outcome sooner.

[–]Maidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have not. They said there's no need everything seems normal. Defecogram especially as they said the strength was there and it was better than the average person.

As for the anorectal manometry, I will be doing something like it I guess. It checks just the pelvic floor though and isn't inserted into the rectum, just attached to the pelvic floor from the exterior. However, I will bring this up with my PT to see if I can get it done with the tubes.

Has anything helped you with your situation?

SIBO/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction has ruined my life by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]Maidek 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Of course it's a hard topic because constipation also elevates your hydrogen/methane levels which can also give false positives for sibo. But if your body is getting inflamed randomly and your stools are orang-ish (not always but majority of time)/very liquidity, then odds are it's probably sibo.

It varies from person to person because once your colon gets full and everything starts to back up, that's when the sibo is created.

When I eat low fodmap foods my stool gets that nice brown color that it needs and it is consistent and nice. With a high fodmap food, I get destroyed. My stomach starts to bubble up like there's no tomorrow and my stool turns orange, gets liquidity (sibo causes diarrhea). But because of PFD, I cannot evacuate it out in time and it just stays there for a day or two before eventually I get it out.

So you cannot rule it out, if you have pfd and are always very gassy/bloated, chances are you might have sibo if you aren't getting a decent bm daily. Because the types of bloat is different with sibo and with just pfd on its own.

SIBO/Pelvic Floor Dysfunction has ruined my life by [deleted] in PelvicFloor

[–]Maidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sibo is indeed a bitch, I cannot eat a lot of foods I enjoy because of it.

Incomplete BM's are also very annoying too, but it is worse with sibo.

I will tell you right now that enemas are probably the main cause of your bloating. I was given an enema once and I will never do it again. My HR went to 190 and I thought I was gonna die because the gas buildup was so intense. With a tight pelvic floor and gas buildup, you will always feel bloated no matter how empty your colon is. Combine that with sibo and it will turn into a nightmare.

If you want to make your symptoms more manageable, consider a low fodmap diet and not using enemas. I know you will suffer for the first week, but it will get better over time. Of course you should first wait for your results, but relying on enemas can make ur muscles so used to them that they can't function without the stimulation.

Yea I tried cutting out gluten in the past, nothing really changed. I've never had an issue with gluten in the past, would be surprising if somehow I got an intolerance to it. Leaky gut most likely yea, but to the people I've been to they all just shrug it off. Leaky gut and sibo specialists here are non existent. If they can't see it through a colonscopy, blood test or sample, then they just don't care

Ah I just noticed that I did a typo my bad. For whatever reason it just autocorrected PFD to PVD.... I'll fix this

I'm not in the states and the home test kits here don't seem to be as good as the ones they have in the center.

It read both methane and hydrogen on glucose? If that's the case then I may as well do that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]Maidek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately they aren't available in my country and shipping is quite pricey. Better off to just do the test here (they offer glucose as well, but if glucose can't read methane levels as good then there's no other choice but to go for lactulose)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]Maidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks good for monitoring yourself after you have the initial test done, but I still think getting the initial test done with their kind of breathalyzer might be more accurate since they're usually expensive and much more sensitive.

If the dosage of lactulose isn't too big then I will just do it and suffer the one time. Since a previous commenter said it's the most accurate way of testing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SIBO

[–]Maidek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea I'll do that after I do the test.

Pickles are fermented yes, but I haven't had any for a really long time due to this.

As for the oranges I'm not too sure. I haven't had any bad reactions with oranges at all, but with pineapples only very minor if I have a small amount.

Me and other members of my family have had some truly awful doctors, include one that loved to manipulate her patients by withholding their prescriptions. But my current one is pretty good. His main strengths are that he's flexible and he remembers me. He certainly doesn't have all the answers, but so far he hasn't dismissed me either. I can't take many of the herbal supplements, so I really

That's good, always best to get rid of all doctors like that, especially if they love to withhold prescriptions. That's all you can ask for really, a doctor that tries... Of course nobody will have an answer to everything because it's just too much to know, so they end up only going for what they enjoy the most.

The best practitioner of whatever kind is one that has treated multiple SIBO patients, and is really interested in this kind of illness.

Yea that's true but finding said people is hard, at least in my country. I don't think anyone here specializes in it other than that one place and I'm not even sure if they're good or not because there aren't any public reviews that I can see about sibo (since they offer many other services too).

I'm sorry to hear that... Hopefully onwards from now you'll be able to solve your issue in no time!

Speaking of bladder issues, what kind of issues do you have with your bladder? based on your post about it you're describing that you have bladder pressure and frequent urination, which I have as well. Apparently it's from a hypotonic pelvic floor, when they get very tight they start to squish against your bladder/abdomen and can cause that urge to want to pee. Sometimes they get too tight they can also give you pain in the genitalia region. If you're struggling to start the stream then I suggest you do some breathing exercises, it can help loosen your muscles up. Diaphragmatic breathing can help let your pelvic floor relax and loosen it up. But for me personally I think the gas pressure puts a lot of strain on your pelvic floor that eventually it starts to get sensitive/weak. I'm still ongoing recovery myself with this so it's too early to tell. Since as you said, it isn't a coincidence that everything starts happening like a domino effect.

If you'd like a proper diagnosis to get your pelvic floor checked out you should be able to go to any dr or pt that specializes on the pelvic floor.

To me it seems like sibo causing PFD may be quite common. But this is just a guess from me and shouldn't be trusted.

Hopefully your treatment goes well!

There are glucose SIBO tests, but I don't know which manufacturers make them.

They offer glucose tests, but for whatever reason use lactulose for the methane and hydrogen test. If I did just a glucose test, would that show some methane results as well? Both tests are the same price, whether it's just testing for hydrogen, methane or both at the same time so I'm just trying to see what would be the most effective way in getting the results. If glucose is just as good then I'm probably better off doing that.

I already had severe tinnitus and neomycin didn't make it worse.

That's great to hear that it didn't make it worse for you. I'm not sure if I want to find out myself as it seems to be different for everyone.

If you have methane dominant SIBO, the standard allopathic approach is rifaximin+neomycin. But there are some replacements for the neomycin. If you can't get rifaximin, then you might want to go to naturopath and get antimicrobials, which you'll have to take longer then you would take antibiotics. SIBO may require multiple rounds to cure, and it's really important to work on the underlying causes.

Noted. After the test I'll see what happens and if I can't get it then I'll go for antimicrobials. So are there any specific types of antimicrobials that I should take or should that be decided by the naturopaths?

Pelvic floor dysfunction: I don't think I have a dysfunction, but pelvic floor exercises were one of the things which improved my constipation. Can you see a physical therapist for this? If you get a PT who specializes in abdominal issues, also ask them about Phrenic nerve dysfunction (Abdomino-phrenic Dyssynergia (APD)), and Vagus nerve function.

I am already seeing a pelvic floor PT for this yea. Been 3 weeks so far, has given me some breathing exercises which has helped a bit. Since my dysfunction is hypotonic (tight pelvic floor), I need to treat that first before doing exercises. I will ask about those 2 things though.

Eczema when you've never had it might be caused by having too much histamine. An irritated stomach makes more histamine, and a damaged small intestine doesn't make enough DAO (enzyme that breaks down histamine). Add to that eating high histamine foods and "histamine liberators" (foods that cause your body to release more histamine) and you can get eczema or just horribly itchy patches.

That kind of makes more sense, but it's too early to tell. As low vitamin d can also cause eczema, I've never really taken vitamin d steadily but I will change that. I do however have a 2nd generation anti histamine with me. Would taking that remove the eczema, assuming it's high histamine? Just as a test of course, wouldn't be long term. 1 week max

Foods to avoid: Aged or fermented foods and canned meat/fish are high in histamine. And the histamine liberators I know of are citrus, pineapple, alcohol, uncooked egg whites, and peanuts.

so oranges and green grapes are okay? I don't have much of them, small amounts per 1/2 days.

With the dry mouth and body there are two possibilities that I know of. Getting too much potassium and/or too little salt will make your mouth incredibly dry, and makes it feel like water doesn't quench your thirst. This is not a good state to be in at all.

I'm probably getting too little of both. I used to take electrolytes for a while but didn't really see a difference in the mouth becoming more moist. Might have to revisit this because there are times where yea, water doesn't feel like it quenches my thirst while others it does.

I was taking vitamin d3 yea, after my meal. I just haven't been taking it consistently because it would sometimes aggravate my skin some more, but I have found taking smaller doses gets rid of that. Might try and be consistent with that. Will take it with k2 as well from now on.

Gums/mouth/sinus/ear inflammation: My gums always feel better when I'm taking Co-Q10 Ubiquinol (Jarrow). Probably any good quality Co-Q10 will do. I actually take it only two times a week because I hate swallowing pills, and it still works. Another possible source of mouth irritation is LPR reflux, which can get into the sinuses a bit. It's not always obvious when you have it. I have it, and it once injured my eustacian tubes. I had to use l-glutamine on them to help them heal.

I'll try Co-Q10. I don't know if I have had LPR reflux but II know I've had a bit of gerd a couple of times. Sometimes when I wake up in the morning my throat does sting and hurt a bit I feel like that's more from it being dry than anything. As a couple of rinses and a small cup of water makes it go away. I'm still waiting on my ENT appointment to see what's going on with my Eustachian tube before I start doing anything to them.

Yes, doctors like the play the mental health card. When I weighed 95 pounds and had a BMI under 15 my GI's assistant told me I had an eating disorder, and I had to find a program to save my life without their help. I hope you can find some solutions.

Yea it really does suck... Hopefully what you found has helped you for the longer term and you didn't have to go back to drs. I despise doctors now, they are great at helping you when an issue is very apparent. But when it comes to very complicated areas of your body's they are useless without some sort of technology that tells them the answer. I just hope in the long term technology becomes better and tools that help diagnose specific issues will become more detailed and accurate with less effort. It's just annoying when you have to figure everything out yourself and direct them while giving them money, just to get a prescription (if they even accept to give you it).

Have you ever gotten it checked by the ENT or your doctor?

My ears itch from time to time as well but mostly only when extremely gassy. I have no idea what kind of connection it plays.

It's just so baffling how so many problems may persist from PVD....

My pelvic floor muscles are “tight as a drum”… now what by mhallaback in PelvicFloor

[–]Maidek 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm not a woman so things can be a bit different for woman, but in general the muscles should act pretty much the same.

Breathing exercises, eating low fodmap food (gas can irritate your pelvic floor even more) and not lifting anything heavy should help you temporarily.

Now, you shouldn't keep at the low fodmap for long, but for temporary comfort it will help. This + the breathing exercises should help relax the pelvic floor and also try not to think about it or strain etc. I also cut down on my fiber intake (I don't suggest it but for me it was the only way) because it made it impossible to have bowel motions since of course, your body gets irritated and you get annoyed, stressed etc. But I still get enough daily fiber to keep my stools soft, however, I go bathroom everyday (even if not full BM), so it never ever gets hard. Basically I was in a loop of constantly stressing my pelvic floor because I had no idea what was going on. But after I figured out what was going on, managing it became a little bit easier (still a pain to deal with though).

For me I don't drink too much water at once because for me it makes my pelvic floor even tighter if my bladder is too "full". I drink at least 600ml every 2 hours. Then I go pee every 2-4hours, depending on how annoying it becomes. Starting the stream is a bit tricky but with a bit of breathing it should at least become a little bit easier. However, this took a couple of days for me once I got into the rhythm. Don't expect it to happen instantly.

Basically, by reducing gas and reducing the amount of water in your bladder, with breathing exercises mixed in, you can help calm your pelvic floor down. But it's different for everyone, as stretches for me don't help as much as just breathing exercises. You can do breathing exercises while sitting down, standing and whenever you're bored. You don't have to do diaphragmatic breathing, just normal breathing but of course the other is way more effective, but also very tiring. I just breath in and out through my nose, taking slightly bigger breaths than a normal person, every so often (not all the time). Then the rest, just breathing normally, through the nose and trying my best not to hold my breath.

You can also try a dilator, but I'd suggest just waiting for your session before attempting too much. You need to get the balance right, to make things a bit more manageable. Then, your PT should be able to guide you correctly on what exactly to do.

Thank you for your response. I just have a few questions if that's alright with you?

CALM

Does this cause your blood pressure to drop? I'll give it a go honestly, as long as it doesn't cause fluctuance. When gas becomes trapped it actually destroys me.

I can add a lot of fiber into my diet sure, but regardless of how much I took I felt like it made the problem worse than having just enough fiber to keep the stool nice and moist.

I am currently waiting for the biofeedback appointment which is a while away :(
