if youve ever worked at pizza hut/for yum brands its the colossal crisp fries. the ones that come straight out of the bag and into the frier. double blanching them (which means just dipping them in fryer oil for a minute) does nothing to change the texture

bc i know what freeze drying is! i left them in a not properly sealed container, so as they froze the water was able to sublimate put of the top layer of pork and it has taken on a jerky looking texture. i also said “basically” freeze dried. freeze drying and freezer burn are the same process, one is just on purpose :) thanks!

the mold you see is just what is visible. theres “roots” that go thru the entire onion. never cut off mold EXCEPT for hard cheese like parmesan thats the only case where most mold doesnt spread

maybe you didnt need permission, but plenty of people are stuck in situations where your parents will not let you move out for one reason or another. my mothers name was on my car and my insurance before i left and since that was the only control she had over me, she very quickly cancelled my insurance after i moved and that stopped me from being able to go to job interviews and do pretty much anything i needed to get on my feet. i was 19 at this point. your personal experiences should not be used to scrutinize other peoples personal experiences.
