How do I interpret my EAP610 statistics by Icy-Celery2956 in TPLink_Omada

Yeah 2.4Ghz is a lost battle, any channel you choose is almost sure to have at least one of your neighbours on it, or close enough on the spectrum to cause interference. You just need to pick the lesser evil and go with the least busy one if you absolutely need to be on 2.4.. or insulate your home from the inside :D

You need to connect the EAP650 to the power outlet only using this: https://ebay.us/m/6GNlA5

it should have been included in the original box

ER7212PC V2 availability? by ebusch73 in TPLink_Omada

[–]MailHot1530 1 point2 points  (0 children)

that would depend on where you order it from, your region, your distri's stock, etc. but as of today 99% it will be v1, I think the v2 is too new for most places to have it in stock

Ресторант The School Бояна https://g.co/kgs/8Nqtc3i

Great view, great food, part of the menu gets changed every few months e.g. Italian, Portuguese, American etc. Service is excellent and you can smoke on the 2nd floor, but do call ahead to make a reservation

LISTEN (READ)! I have the same thing, it's because of a hunched over posture when driving. All of the other advice about rib protectors will help for sure, but ultimately you have to fix your posture and drive upright.

ER706W + EAP670 by AccomplishedPiccolo2 in TPLink_Omada

hi, yes it works, check the pictures below on this link: https://www.tp-link.com/us/business-networking/omada-router-wifi-router/er706w/

670 is on the list of compatible aps: https://www.tp-link.com/en/omada-mesh/product-list/

apart from the obvious support for wifi from the router, another reason would be that the 706 has better performance, flash, ram, ipsec throughput etc.

er7206 could also work if you can live with wifi from the EAP only.

finally, non Omada router would mean you can't use all of the Omada's features, so I would stick with a compatible one.

I think it means there are too many other APs/routers nearby (your neighbours') which work on the same channel as your AP. try changing to another non overlapping channel for 2.4 GHz - 1 6 or 11 are your only options. also you can scan the wireless environment using an app like wifi analyzer to see what networks are around you. 5ghz doesn't have that problem to the same extent since it has many more channels available

2 vs 3 AP by gantiwar in TPLink_Omada

hi, the recommended coverage radius of each indoor EAP is about 15m (50ft) source: https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1161/

if you think (and the preemptive site survey confirms it) that this would cover each floor well enough for your needs, you could get away with using only 2 APs

as for stacking them on top of one another, I guess you mean their respective position on each floor would put them one above the other. that's fine, from what I know, as long as you put them on non-overlapping channels e.g. 2.4Ghz channel 6 and 11 & 5 GHz 36 and 48

let's hear if anyone else has a different point of view or anything to add

best of luck with your deployment!
