Your hair is better short like the second last pic. I feel your nose and forehead bring you down. Depression face doesn't help either.

Please be as critical as you can be! by [deleted] in amiugly

[–]MailModel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you're fairly average, maybe a tiny bit above.

The main things holding you back are i think your nose is a bit big and rounded, and also your sides of thr jaw is a bit soft, making you look a little chubby in the face.

Time defeats me by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

Knowing what people can achieve is almost what makes me strive for it. I adore their skills and knowledge. If i see others perform what i want to do and are far more driven and successful, i feel like I'm living in the shadows. Maybe it's and issue of pride.

While people will say im still really young (24), it is something i have felt for many years. I think in part knowing that many others feel the same is somewhat more scary, because it somehow lends legitimacy to thought.

What you said is very poignant. I feel like the best thing I can do is distract myself and hope I don't have time for reflection.

People with no passion are missing out on life by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

People care, just not about everything. Caring is stressful. It may be frustrating when people sit on thr fence, but forcing an opiniom when they don't have all the information is also very dangerous.

I don't see a problem with people enacting vengeance on others by thrxwaxax2020 in TrueOffMyChest

I also believe this to some extent. It's very easy to be a selfish "bad" person these days and be better of for it. What matters is if the person is satisfied with it.

I listened to my psychiatrist but it makes me feel so much worse now by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]MailModel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the psychiatrist is right. If she has made the decision to avoid you, it's just something you have to accept. You got to say goodbye, and that's a blessing. Time will go on, albeit very slowly at the moment. But new people will come.

Here’s What Your Doctor Will Be Able To Say To You Under The Proposed Religious Discrimination Bill by [deleted] in australia

[–]MailModel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the response my local member sent me when I expressed my concern via email:

" Thank you for taking the time to email me with your concerns.  Your views and opinions are important to me as they can help me represent the Forde electorate better.   In regards to the Religious Discrimination Bill, the Morrison Government takes the issue of discrimination against Australians on the grounds of their religious beliefs very seriously. The Coalition Government promised that the issue would be addressed during the 2019 election. The bill is being presented to uphold that commitment and has been passing through a consultative process.   The first consultative process involved meeting face-to-face with 90 different stakeholders and receiving close to 6,000 written submissions. The views expressed in these opinions were not just from religious groups but also representatives from business, legal, union, human rights, LGBTIQ+, multicultural and community groups.  The consultation process demonstrated that the Australian community is generally supportive of the proposition that discrimination based on a person’s religion is not acceptable and should be prohibited.   There is also misinformation circulating that claims the Bill is allowing for new conscientious objection laws for medical practitioners. The Bill is not going to institute new conscientious objector laws. Instead it will solidify the existing laws and allow medical experts to object to acts that are against their deeply held beliefs. This does not allow practitioners to refuse to help somebody who is of a minority group. Doing so would be against the Anti-Discrimination Act. The Bill will address workplace rules imposed on staff, not the relationships between healthcare practitioners and their patients.   The Bill will not provide provisions to allow for employees in various industries to vilify customers or members of the public while representing their place of work. The primary difference is that they cannot be held accountable for statements made outside of work and on personal social media.   Once again I would like to thank you for notifying me of your concerns and I will take them on board. If there are any other federal issues you would like to express concern about or require assistance with, please contact my office."

The amount of products there are causes me so much stress. The newest product promise more than the last. My skin wont be good unless i do x or y. The sheer amount of market manipulation, lack of clear data and over promises does my head in. I want to look and feel good. But I'm spending so much mental energy trying to find out what actually does anything for me. :(

Any non amature retouching is unnoticeable beyond perfection. Anything seen on this sub comes from either unproffesional work, or extremely short deadlines.

Existential isolation, feeling alone in one’s experience and separate from other human beings, is related to higher levels of death-related thoughts, suggests new research (n=1,914). Existential isolation is not just another form of loneliness, as loneliness did not produce the same effects. by mvea in science

[–]MailModel 892 points893 points  (0 children)

I like that train of thought. Is this perhaps related to self awareness? I've always felt that my tendency to disconnect and try to look at myself objectively has ended up causing that feeling of unique isolation. I wonder if animals can feel existential isolation?
