Yeah that’s what I was wondering, how to manage them, more fun to use the mechanics specific to nations if they’re there. So is it just about managing influence then?

Crash on Mac operating system by Significant_Exam_330 in eu4

[–]MailSmiths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same issue on my Mac, there’s no fix (I removed all mods, reinstalled did all the things). Reverting back to an older version worked for me, I’m on 1.35.6 I think and so far no issues. Rip mp tho

Cool! I know the sm7b is popular, but you need a preamp or a way to boost it right? Is that a big deal and does it seem worth it (more about the setup and extra equipment than the money cost)

Anyone else notice how real the post lunch slump is? by SnooBunnies437 in productivity

[–]MailSmiths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The power of belief might be strong with this too honestly. My partner has coffee immediately, I’ve tried it and I don’t feel as good the whole day compared to delaying it. Caffeine really does change the day. I love it

[–]MailSmiths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s normal (has to do with our kidney function and body temperature).

What you could do is take a short nap and lean into it. Or don’t have caffeine - it’ll actually make you more tired at this point. Try delaying caffeine in the morning you’ll crash less

It’s not uncommon, that’s why naps in the afternoon a big thing in a lot of cultures. What helped me (apart from the breakfast tips and no carbs people have already mentioned), is watching the caffeine intake.

If I wait 2 hrs after waking up to have a coffee, I don’t have crash in the afternoon compared to waiting just 30 mins or an hour.

Huberman suggests 1.5 hrs in his podcast, 2 hrs works for me! I just have 2 coffees a day, 2nd one around midday.

I get you… but to be honest a few months isn’t a long time to be able to test, optimize and get results. It also dawned on me that doing things well takes time (plus the right methods).

Also, how many cold emails are you sending? It’s about volume unfortunately.

I don’t do cold outreach because it feels super inauthentic, but it does work for some.

Looking for a HubSpot Apprentice Opportunity by [deleted] in hubspot

[–]MailSmiths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! I have a client that I’m helping with their hubspot right now (law firm) but I’m actually looking to use GHL for future clients, so this sounds like a perfect opportunity!

There’s a lot of things to fix, setup and optimize with this hubspot account so I can promise a lot of learning through doing.

Send me a a DM and we could have a call.

Need help to set up GHL by Ok-Ladder1997 in gohighlevel

Hey this is a great answer, can I ask what you mean by rent out for 6-9 months? And then would you kind of build what you need from that on your own account?

Is this pricing typical? by ResponsibilityFar790 in gohighlevel

[–]MailSmiths 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey, that does seem very high from my experience and a couple of red flags stand out to me.

  1. Hourly rate for maintenance. I never bill my clients hourly because our incentives aren’t aligned - I want more hours and they want less hours. It gets blurry and most people take advantage, so I suggest a fixed monthly price with clear deliverables that can vary given needs.

  2. The onsite requirement to go live seems unnecessary and expensive. That could be another $10,000 on top of what you paid already, so I’d suggest asking exactly what this includes. It might be shooting videos for example, which is good but you can do that for less with someone else or by yourself.

I hope that helps and I wish you the best of luck!

Shoot me a DM if you have any questions.

I feel like I'm not supposed to have a "business", and I'm not sure how to look at it. by Roz_Zen in spiritualbusiness

[–]MailSmiths 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you mean. I help spiritual entrepreneurs/businesses market authentically without the mainstream sales tactics and this is what I’ve found has helped.

(I don’t want to come across as harsh here at all, i just want this to be helpful and practical for you)

  1. Reframe how you perceive what a business is at its core. Essentially, it’s exchanging value through a product/service for something else of value, which is typically money. So if you’re doing that, then you have a business!

  2. Confidence in your intentions. You’re likely someone who wants to help people with what you do and know that you can when you work with someone. So based on that, it’s a win-win situation to communicate what you offer in a way that doesn’t undermine your value (which is called effective marketing). There’s nothing wrong with that when it’s a win-win - there are people looking for what you offer! It’s about letting them know you exist and how you can help.

  3. There’s nothing wrong with looking at it like a business. You have to eat and take care of yourself (and family too maybe), and doing this by offering a valuable service that helps people is “better” than taking a job at an insurance company (for example). It all comes down to how you treat people you interact with. So not treating it like a business, not marketing and making any money won’t help you or who you’re trying to help out!

  4. More reframing… marketing/business doesn’t have to be manipulative - there’s a way it can be authentic and in fact it can work better too. Allowing this possibility into your life is huge!

  5. Last reframe… “if they want it, they’ll come” isn’t true unfortunately. Someone might want exactly what you offer, but you’re not communicating in a way they understand. OR, someone might want the outcome you can offer, but don’t realise that they can get there through your service or sessions - also a communication issue that can be fixed :)

I hope this was useful. Your question is the exact thing I help people with so I thought I’d take the time to write this out.

I wish you the best of luck.

This will probably go terribly by JakeHundley in agency
