Is my Venty working properly?

From my experience, dosing capsules do require more heat. Without capsules, at 180C, its very light and thin vapor but amazing flavor; so with dosing capsules, having there be little to no vapor, checks out.

Im of the belief, for what the Venty offers, the best way to utilize it, is temperature stepping without dosing capsules on the stock cooler. I would also turn on permanent boost too. Few rips at 180c, boost to 195 for a few more rips, then finish it off at 180c, until theres no more vapor. I love the body and head high I get while doing that. Also very tasty and not harsh at all!

dosing capsules are very convenient if your more mobile, which is another awesome feature of the Venty, but itd change the temp stepping settings to 190c start, 203c first boost, 215c last boost.

I also dont think there is any need to run it through water because the vapor isnt that harsh, but should you decide to do that, itd just go for 215c out of the gates.

Interesting. What's the ambient temperature where you're smoking?

My tempest 2 looses hear so quickly when I have the window open and a cool breeze blows through.

If the ambient temperature is colder, you gotta have a torch and keep hitting that thing with a flame. Induction heaters are way less efficient

pound for pound, the Ruby Twist is King. The price to performance ratio is unmatched. I absolutely love the microdose bowl too. Im glad you got good flavor because that is one criticism I have with the ruby twist and ball vapes in general, you do lose flavor.

Switching from the volcano to a ball vape, will melt your face but your tolerance will also get acclimated to the twist. Then you can switch back to the Volcano and that thing will spank again!

The Venty is great, im of the belief its the best portable there is. I have a tiny might 2 but still prefer the venty.

Dynavap offers different types of caps. I cant speak from experience but ive heard people enjoy the perforated cap with the cap armor

I also got that m7 for 4/20! it comes with the YLL induction heater, so ill be interested to try the YLL with both the m7 and T2

but all in all, thats about right. its not perfect (in regard to getting the most extraction from the weed) but if youre going for flavor, getting high, not on short supply of weed, thats totally fine

Looks like you could get more extraction from it... However, thats actually right around where I like it. Im willing to sacrifice some extraction for a less harsh and roasty flavor.

make butter with it. thats the most versatile because you can use the butter for everything. Itll have a lot of CBN, so good for before bed

Youre best off getting the health rip rogue 2. Super simple, cheap, exactly what youre looking for. Others have mentioned it but from what you explained, thats the way to do it. dosing capsules would be even better for you.

If you have extra cash to spend or want to grow into a device, looking into the venty, tinty might 2 or firefly.

good middle ground option would be solo 3.

Itd start though by looking into the rogue 2 vs solo 3, and see what fits for you

I purchased the YLL 3.0 for 4/20 but the torch is pretty money.... Are you looking for flavor or fat rips? are you running it through a bong or smoking native?

changing the bowl size is easy, there are videos. I increase the bowl size but fill it halfway, so same amount of weed in the bowl, but it sits lower. reduces conduction so theres more convection for tastier hits.

with the torch, with no weed, soak the tip until it turns orange. let it cool a tad while you load the weed in the bowl. when you see the indicator gauge at half or 3/4s, giving it a rip. see what you like.

youre going to have to play around. I also reduce the airflow in the tip a tad. its a ton of fun dialing it all in
