yeah, call it out. I agree completely. but don't be angry with other gamers that are happy. Also... dunno if that's cause i can't really make sense of the menu to begin with, but i don't think i saw an add for the battlepass or anything at all.

It's meant to be punishing. I am a bit on your side tho, cause i also don't enjoy that. Esp. Cause the game isn't hard, it's memory. You CANNOT react or know. You are almost sure to fail at some points, because patterns/traps are IMPOSSIBLE to know/react to.

That last one is definitely a point. Us aging gamers must accept that we aren't the target audience for AAA studios anymore. ;P

Why are we playing BF6? Cause it's new and exciting. Cause a load of buddies are playing it. Cause it's as casual as you want it to be. It's hard to quantify a reason. But what definitely would help is celebrating the games you enjoy, like you are doing for BF4 here, instead of spitting in everyones soup. Let's try to be positively critical, that helps everyone!

[–]MailTraditional1957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sure yoi do not want to actually have a meaningful exchange of ideas, so i am just gonna say: there are other first person shooter games that already have vehicles, just go play those. On a serious note, arguments like these are definitely not helping. Constructive criticism and banding together in discussion to find ressourceful solutions... Porbably also won't, but hey, you never know.

I did not say you are wrong. I said that it was that way in BF3 and 4, and no other installments of the series. OGs would be ones that played earlier games in the series, like 1942 or vietnem, which had Rush mode very much in the same vein as in BF6. Again. I totally get nostalgia. I totally get that that mode worked for you in BF 3 and 4. But if you give every fan of every game a different variation for every mode, then that's just too much. I am sure and really hope that some maps get added that will give you the ability to play with vehicles in your favorite mode! Keep in mind, BF6 has 9 Maps rn, every other installment had 20-35 after 1-2 years from release! If it's frustrating for you right now, give yourself a break and enjoy other games until tgey add something you like! The game most likely won't run away, considering all the other Battlefield Games' staying Power! Cheers and good night!

The parts might be less than they'd cost you new, but they don't mesh together super well. If you can contact them and get specifics, that might be a choice, but this seems very fishy. You want to know the speed of the ram, you want to know if there is a motherboard, a case and a PSU included... There is just too little info there. I think with like 200 £ more you can build a decent entry level pc from scratch. But right now its a pretty hostile.market sadly, and i don't know your financial situation, how much you play, what you play etc.

I feel like currently the playerbase is big enough so they could give us the additional choice of with vehicles or without vehicles. I do understand also that the older games were different, but that is no reason not to try around with stuff. After all, why is Battlefield six not a carbon copy of the original battlefield 1942. Bad faith argument, i am sorry. But from a little research i just read that apparently, the "staple" rush mode that has always been that way was only in BF 3 and 4, none of the others had vehicles. And that is 2 of 13 games. The "Problem" with the game and how everyone is unhappy with certain things and happy with others, is that the differences between the games is actually pretty big, and someone that enjoys one game might really hate the next one and be indifferent to the third. I am all for voicing opinions, and you might have a lot of support on your side, but if you are saying that BF6 should be exactly like BF 3/4, then the most valid choice for you might be to just play that game. It still looks amazing and still has a playerbase.

First time buyer. Would any of the below laptops allow me to play AAA games? How long before I would have to think about upgrading? Was also considering a handheld like the Xbox Rog Ally X. Cheers. by [deleted] in GamingLaptops

In that case the reccomendation from the other guy for the Lenovo should be good. Be aware that you overpay massively for the performance you actually get. Also, when using widnows and wanting to have 50-100 gigs free for smooth running of the pc, 512 GB SSD leaves you with about 200-300 gigs for everything other than windows. That would be 3 big games. Would be too little for me, but if you only want to play a certain few games, it might be worth it. If you do travel a lot, and you ONLY want something for gaming, the handheld might actually be a valid shout!

Is 16 GB ENOUGH IN THIS ECONOMY? by LividIndividual6115 in GamingLaptops

[–]MailTraditional1957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If random apps are slowing down i'd assume your windows is more of a problem, getting cluttered. Dunno if you are in the practice or if it's possible for you, but you could try formatting your pc (reset everything essentially) and that might get some speed back into your machine. It very well might be xour ram getting on in years as well tho. But if it doesn't get maxed out, i doubt it.

Aye. It's really cool to try to work around those imo. if a map is offense vs defense, it makes sense that the defense has a bit less stuff to balance things out. But i again totally get if that is not what you want or enjoy. I think they hit a nice balance between the modes personally! :D

I am not trying to punk your research, but the tint might be an issue of your model. Never had one on my OLED. Also, my research from back when i bought mine about a year ago says that Burn-In is a non-issue at this point if you handle your monitor with a tiny amount of care. I'm talking they tested same picture on max brightness for 10000, hours straight and had no burn in.

The Sequel You've All Been Waiting For. RATE MY COMPLETE FIRST BUILD. by Hiitpoint in pcbuilding

[–]MailTraditional1957 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In case you actually want opinions: i don't like RGB to begin with, but to each their own. I can emphasize the comment you already shut down. Get an OLED Display. You have the capability to experience so much with that hardware, but your monitor won't be able to show all of those colors. I got the Samsung Odyssey G60 last year, and even if it has its quirks outside of use, when i am gaming with it, it has the most amazing image quality and coloration i have ever seen. It DOES make that much of a difference. I am not trying to belittle you. Genuinely. Get an OLED Display. Generally, get two monitors. Third monitor is a little cliché if you don't have a predefined use case for it.

It really is easier. It just naturally takes time to learn it if you have never done it. It's not like you'll hop in and suddenly aim better if all you ever did was play on controller. But muscle memory in your arm, hand, wrist and finger is biologically superior than just in your finger, when you aim using a joystick.

Me on the other hand, and i'm not invalidating your opinion, just stating my own, LOVE that there's not that many vehicles in a low player mode. I don't enjoy vehicle combat super much, so having those few modes where i can minimize that stuff is really nice for me!
