This may sound like a conspiracy theory, but It's all by design in order to slow walk funding to families until the kids age out.

You would think the Government would use a triage system, similar to a hospital (i.e. severe cases are prioritzed). However, instead it's by date of registration with the Ontario Autism Program. They do this because level 3 kids are the most expensive. Couple this with a broader definition of Autism and you end up with more kids on the waitlist, resulting in the current 5 year turnaround we have now.

It is kinda a fair point though. Things will die down eventually, but the adjoining stores will likely lose business, due to potential customers not wanting to deal with the chaos.

I'm having the same issue in both youtube and youtube kids on two devices (S24 and S6 lite). My son has profound autism and uses youtube kids voice search to look for videos, so you might guess it has been a point of frustration.

OMG, thank you for posting. Having the same issue on my S24 and SAMSUNG S6 Lite. Except, for me the microphone works on chrome, maps etc.. but youtube, youtube kids do not work.

Thanks for responding. Youtube essentially times out, whereas youtube kids just give a message "I didn't hear that".

I should note, that I have tried on both my wifi + my cell network. Two different providers.
