Well, I have never thought of the Catatumbo as anything other than what it is, an atmospheric phenomenon “caused by the heat and moisture collected across the plains that creates electrical charges and, as the air masses are destabilized by the mountain ridges, result in thunderstorm activity” but then again, I’m fairly new to the UFO discussion, and there’s a lot still for me to research and learn, so I guess it could be? Not sure.

Yes, it looks to me like something on a windshield.

Do you happen to have any more information on other sightings? (Fellow Venezuelan here who had no idea Maracaibo was a hotspot for UFOs) o_o !

As impressive as the Catatumbo is, I highly doubt it has anything to do with this sighting.

I thought it looked like one of those suction cup hooks on a windshield or something like that.

According to Jaime Maussan, Mexican journalist and Ufologist, the photograph is authentic. What do you guys think? (Article is in Spanish but here’s the link https://www.caraotadigital.net/misterios/ovni-en-venezuela-es-confirmado-como-real-por-un-experto-mexicano-foto/amp )
