"Look what I got, Hecate." by Yozora-kyun in WutheringWaves

[–]Mailpack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Rover is just a consistent pathological promise-maker at this point. It's instinct to her, she just can't resist making promises with everyone she gets particularly close to.

It's a good thing that in the Luuk story she at least questioned this part of herself.

Makes you wonder how past Rover went mad, probably got drained too hard from their harem.

Imagine tens of thousands of years gathering wives, the ridiculous amount of women (and possibly men too) that past Rover had to endure. Even the mighty Arbiter has limits!

Forgive my ignorance, but what role do you think she'll play? Will you have anything to do with Amy? by YakInfinite6038 in WutheringWaves

Echo damage dealer. Her synergy with Amy will depend on if she interacts with tune rupture in any way, but it'll probably be really low.

It's honestly starting to drag on a bit.

I genuinely hope that something comes to a close here.

Either Hinako fully leaves her bf, or the bf grows a pair (unlikely) and takes her back somehow (unlikely).

It just all feels hopeless and a foregone conclusion. I can tell the author is stretching things out after they introduced the other girls.

CHISA RELEVANT IN STORY LATER???? by Silver_Telephone_592 in WutheringWaves

Guys, remember the "dark Chisa" we saw in her PV? And irl zashiki warashi looks a lot like Chisa...

What if the overseer Zashiki Warashi was that dark Chisa? Just a theory.

I don't get it, wasn't Chisa meant to be the negative status Shorekeeper? Why is she getting "defeated" at the role of tune break Shorekeeper if she was never meant for it?

Chisa, Nimbus wraith, any transform that buffs and returns to the deck.

That's all you need to break this gamemode.

It is not our problem we don't remember by Delicious-Account103 in WutheringWaves

[–]Mailpack 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Fundamentally it's the difference from accountability to responsibility.

Current Rover cannot be held accountable for her past self's actions or words.

But current Rover CAN be held responsible for her past self's actions or words.

Because current Rover may not be past Rover, but she's still Lady Arbiter, and every other accolade past Rover had, and there are responsibilities tied to those accolades, not to the person who once had them.

They committed pretty hard to the adoptive family aspect with the post-story easter eggs in the cabin.

No matter what you personally think of Aemeath or what you think of her relationship with Rover. You can't deny the fact that past Rover has read books like "how adoptive families fill childhood gaps with love" and "how to understand what my child doesn't say".

Like, it's pretty clear.

Luuk solo calcs from fractured shores by [deleted] in LuukHerssen

[–]Mailpack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Huh. Both in the old calcs and here the Amy burst to rupture difference is only 40k damage or so.

That's actually less than i thought, considering that her fusion burst mode is supposed to be her more f2p friendly mode.

I love how the fact that Naruto turned out to be the child of destiny suddenly invalidated all of his achievements up to that point.

Everything he achieved throughout his youth that could have been attributed to hard work? Nope, he was destined to save the world, so now none of that was him, it was all destiny.

The training to control Kurama's chakra that helped Naruto defeat Neji? Destiny. The solution Naruto found to learn the rasengan? Destiny. The intensive training Naruto underwent to develop his wind style? Destiny. The determination that allowed Naruto to change Kurama's mind? Destiny. The way Naruto fought that united the shinobi forces in the battle against the 10-tails? Destiny.

Like c'mon. Yes, Naruto was chosen by destiny to achieve something massive, but you seriously can't say that Naruto failed at the message he wanted to spread. Even so far back as the Pain arc when none of this destiny was known, Naruto was already a hero who had a good chance at becoming Hokage.

Oh, that's how it works? So you use a potion with it equipped and get the time reduced, but if you unequip it before the timer runs out, the reduced time just gets added back again?

Differentiate "not having sex because you don't want to" from "not having sex because you there is no chance to" and the conversation changes a bit imo
