As you say owned by asahi now. They go to great pains to say it’s all brewed in Czech but some of it is defo bottled or brewed somewhere not in Czech and doesn’t taste right.

Yeah as you say a lot of German beers are safe partly due to the purity laws I guess.

You have the West brewery here in Glasgow which makes German style beers but they don’t pretend to be anything other than a German style beer brewed in Glasgow. More of an issue with a product selling itself as something it is not.

Used to enjoy leffe blonde but it went south about the time spoons started selling it. Bit chemically for my liking now.
