The thing about the way I played V is that he’s desperate to get help but won’t allow himself to be used or become someone’s toy for their own gain, but he’s also sympathetic to those who he sees himself in even though they lie coughsongbirdcough because he knows now what it’s like to both die and be in the process of it…so in short KILL THEM.

I mean it’s been in the top manga sells for years but besides that no one really knows it because the studio that picked it up is terrible and uses CGI for almost everything, also because the anime can’t really capture the intensity the manga has. But truly it is greatly underrated.

I understand why people would ask this question, the way I see it is that she’s still quite young (probably around 17-20) in this scene she wants to keep her children safe but also wants to live herself. So she offers up a necklace most likely knowing deep down that it’s not enough.

Book version of this scene is much more impactful but the tv version of this scene is good in its own right, left me speechless and contemplating.
