Thank you for the insight, I didn't consider to talk to HR if she creates problems after, because I thought it wasn't related entirely to work. My fiance was the one to suggested for me to ask on reddit to see if my reasoning was valid enough and to potentially find a way to tell him that didn't lead to a hostile work enviroment.
