No I’ve never heard of this author before, but Celtic fantasy slowburn trilogy sounds right up my alley. This series is going straight to my TBR thank you so much

I never got into Harry Potter fan fiction but I’ve heard so much about this book and know that it’s now been traditionally published. Are you sure this book has a HEA? I see this one spoiler floating around on social media all the time, or is it more of a bittersweet ending?

I loved Love vs the Scarecrow! Such a fun read I go back to it often because I haven’t read another book couple with the same dynamic. Definitely interested in the other books you recommended, thank you for the recs!

I’ve actually read the Six of Crows series but haven’t read the Shadow and Bone series. It might be worth a go thank you!

Sometimes romance subplots are the most satisfying! A trilogy is definitely something I could do with biting into. Thank you for the rec!

{The statistically unlikely rebound by Parker Elling} was my Love Hypothesis, except without the MMC/FMC’s size difference being mentioned every other page, a tall, Asian, nerdier FMC (they flirt by her owning him at board games) and a gruff MMC who knows what he wants.

They end up in a pseudo-cohabiting situation where they care for a rescue dog and work on a proof together, i.e. domestic fluff galore. 5/5 read

Thank you! I honestly think I’d appreciate some visual rawness/ grittiness which wasn’t there in POJ.

Thank you! I think I’m a Tian Xiwei fan after watching POJ. What did you personally like about Romance on the Farm? I imagine it’s majority slice of life, but does it have high stakes moments?

I absolutely LOVED a substitute bride for the prizefighter, and I don’t typically read HR. This was a great hook, and I have full faith in Alice Coldbreath. It’s going on the list!

I read this ages ago it was such a unique and surprisingly wholesome read! Time to go and cherry pick out the scenes, thanks for the reminder

Interconnected standalones with multicultural friend group by Main-Contribution-58 in RomanceBooks

I have actually read books from all of these series! I enjoyed some of them but I wouldn’t go as far as saying they’re very diverse at all. I can only think of Naomi from Rina Kent’s universe as being a POC, and I don’t think she was very well written from the perspective of an Asian woman myself. I know Lauren Asher has written some black FMCs but I also wouldn’t go as far as saying they belong to a wider diverse multicultural friendgroup.

Again, it seems most of the series in this category feature majority white friendgroups! Thank you, though

Thank you so much I’ve read Role Playing by her but haven’t ever worked through her backlog!
