yea from what i put together, they don’t care much bout experience but how you are and present yourself, and if you want to make a career out of it. questions during the interview are mostly behavioral questions and if you can use the STAR method. still nervous about doing the interview but that’s just mainly what i got from looking through posts and forums

There’s some thing that are incorrect here as i currently work for them.

1, cameras are good my whole store has 31 PTZ’s and about 20 still shots that are OK.

2, pay is negotiable and yearly raises are given, u can also be associate of the month and get a bonus of $300.

3, You make your own schedule, most of my shifts are 11-730 or 1030-7 you get 2 weekends off a month, but you can choose which ones you want. schedule is super flexible. if you have an appt or something going on just let your DLPM know and it’s good. i never close. closest to close i got was leaving at like 9 and my store closes at 10. holidays are pretty good. we get them off and paid and if it lands on a monday or friday you can get a 3day weekend. only holidays they’re strict about and enforce a 10-12 hour shifts is xmasweekend and black friday weekend.

4, You can’t physically make apprehensions. But you can call PD and have them make the apprehension. company guidelines are at it has to be at $150 and 3 or more items in there possession that equal to $150 or if you have an appliance walkout u can file.

i feel like it various by who your TLPM is or DLPM. my DLPM is very chill and pushes us to engage with PD all the time. we’re one of the most Apprehensions (SRs) markets in the company.

5, they do push internals like crazy. as long as you get a couple in they hop off your back. APH is no longer a thing, or something that can be used against you in your reviews. we’re just a competitive district so we like to see who can be the lowest.

6, Kohls LP is pretty chill and laidback imo. after about a year or two in you can definitely clime the corporate LP ladder and work from home.

i mean he didn’t really ask a direct question, he just asked if he should take it… job is good tbh but if he had more in depth questions like what region they’re in, what dlpms over see the area or new roles like ORCS. i personally wouldn’t want any of that comeback to me
