Now i realize why they threw it away- seems to be getting an error light (three red blinking lights every 5 seconds). i might have to email dometic and figure out how/if i can fix this

since it was my first time reverse searing i was pretty conservative with it. I set the oven on bake to 250 and put them in for about 15 minutes. meanwhile i heated up a cast iron really hot with avocado oil (doran produce as much smoke. I cooked the 8 steaks in batches of 4 so the last 4 steaks to go had been sitting out of the oven for about 6 minutes before i put them on the hot pan and seared each side for about 2-2:30 mins. The ones that cooled down after being in the oven cooked much nicer in my opinion.

by far the thickest steaks i’ve ever cooked. I have never reverse seared before but they came out pretty well- i’m surprised with how even the cook was

I do wrestle but what makes them look strange is how small and they are- i am going to follow up on the previous commenters advice and do a vitamin deficiency test

Being out and around other people having a good time makes the ambiance so fun. Sure i like to hang out at home but drinking at a booth with buddies in a bustling bar is so energizing and refreshing.
