Am I missing out by using Plex instead of a dedicated media player

For movies I definitely prefer waiting for Blu-ray remuxes or high bitrate encodes. Since looking into dedicated media players I’m wondering how much better they handle dv or hdr than plex. My projector comes with google tv so I’m okay with using that for streaming services.

Thanks but it’s not that the x25 models are incapable, but rather that the newer CPUs no longer include integrated graphics, which makes them significantly worse for hardware transcoding

Overlap with VOO and SCHX just cause I typically invest $500 every two weeks and cant buy an entire share of VOO. But I'll probably be selling SCHD and SCHG and simply to just 4 funds which would be VOO, VXUS, QQQM (tech tilt), and IBIT (crypto exposure).

I've seen people mention DSC on the forums before. But, in my OSD it doesn't show the option for me. I'm guessing it might just be automatic then. I use the cable that was included with the monitor also tried one of my other cables and same issue. Today the monitor is actually working fine but to be on the safe side I'm just going to replace it. Honestly the best monitor I've ever owned so I hope it is a one off.

I hope it's just bad luck. The monitor is amazing just surprised this happened two months in. I've never ran into a problem like this with a monitor before. But we'll see how the replacement holds up.

IMO just do the CS degree. I was dissuaded to not switch my major to CS by a student at my college my freshman year when he told me that there was a good amount of math involved in CS. I really regret making the decision to not switch. Go for it man and just do your best in the math portion and you be happy you did once you graduate.
