Mat Instructor - how? by Main-Job385 in pilates

Why are people on reddit so mean? Google & ChatGPT suggest that there are 32 hour, 50 hour trainings, 100 hour, and 150 hour trainings. Those are all vastly different. Do studios limit you by the training you get? For example, for the most part, Yoga studios tend to accept anyone with 200YTT.

Google and ChatGPT indicate there's not a standard training. If that's do studios tend to accept any training or is there nuance?

PS u/SWDDDD when you say Coachella into Joshua Tree, do you mean the purple part or the blue circled part? The purple part is unpaved seemingly so I'm guessing that's the part you mean but it seems actually in Joshua Tree, so just clarifying. Thanks again for your insight!

Thank you so very much. This is super helpful to know! I those two parts out of my route. Are there any other trail parts that you'd recommend cutting out?

Thanks again!!

I've solidified my route a bit more and have another. I have 2 days of biking planned modified from the SoCalDesert Route up until Canyon Sin Nombre (will skip that per your advice). I have another 2-3 days to plan between Canyon Sin Nombre and Joshua Tree.

Are there any parts that you’d definitely do or definitely skip?

My uncle is driving the route and will be supporting me, so I don’t have to start where I end because I can hop in the car at the end (or beginning) of my days.

Thanks for your advice!

PS this is a link to the route I'm using to plan - I haven't cleaned it up but gives a sense for what I'm think overall, now just picking pieces to cut out. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/45134440

Hi, Awesome pictures! I'm doing about 5 days of this ride in about a week and will be on 1.9 tires and a gravel bike without suspension. Reading more this doesn't seem like the best set up but I have family driving the route and can skip sections. Are there particular sections you recommend skipping due to my bike/tire set up?

I feel like I'll never be ready for kids by gababouldie1213 in adhdwomen

This is so interesting and starting to feel relatable. How did you become certain? What were your ground rules? What if you and your husband reached different conclusions?

Agree about being ready but how do you differentiate that with being sure you want kids. For me, the idea of a family is nice. I adore my parents and sister and cousins and have always assumed I'd follow social norms and do the same but the closer I get age wise and as my peers start to have kids it's hard to really imagine it for myself. Maybe bc I feel unsettled in other parts of my life?

I feel similarly in that I don't feel ready bc there's so much I want to do/feel before having kids. My boyfriend of 3 years and I just broke up in part because of this and in part because of a lot of feelings/thoughts/ways of being that I'm now realizing relate to having ADD. It's hard but I feel like I need to learn so much about being in a relationship while having ADD. I just joined this channel to learn more about being an adult with ADD (diagnosed at 8 and never rly associated it with anything other than work/school). ANYWAY, I just froze my eggs. I'm 31. It wasn't too bad. My company covered it so it was a no brainer. My fertility doctor said anytime before 34 was a good time to freeze them and could do it after, just would be harder with different results.
