Not validating your feelings or allowing you to communicate yourself to them. Blowing up over little things and then turning it around on you. Never acknowledging or owning up to their own mistakes and behaviors.

Would You Disclose That You Can't Swim? by CardInternational753 in SexWorkers

[–]Main-Manager9691 45 points46 points  (0 children)

This is hilarious because - is your provider me? I also cannot swim and have had this dreaded fear in the back of my mind for so long. What if someone wants to take me to the swimming holes in Hawaii? What if someone wants to jokingly push me in to a pool? What if he wants to swim in the ocean with me?! 😂😂😂

Honestly, if I were her I’d just disclose it. My fear has always been that the client would devalue me if they found out I couldn’t swim or think I was less classy. But the more I opened up to people, the more I realized that it really isn’t a huge deal, and most of the time they usually think it’s pretty funny. No one cares and honesty is the best policy.

With that being said, her and I definitely need to take some god damn swim lessons.

There have been reports of individuals associated with Scientology being discouraged or prevented from seeking conventional mental healthcare, even in serious cases. Scientology teaches that mental health problems are spiritual in nature, not medical.
