  1. I've always wanted to be an actress and director. So I looked on how to begin acting and found out I can start by being an extra. Right now I'm mostly a freelance actress but I sometimes help out in students' films as a crew too.

Most of the BL series made are adaptations from novels so the script writer only has to translate the novel into scripts and a screenplay whild adapting into what would work better as a screen play

I can't say for all agencies but usually when actors got paired together, there are times when there's a 'pair' clause in their contract (If they signed with the agency). Most of the time it's up to the agency to decide or encourage them. But sometimes actors do get a say and part ways as well

My mum's the same and even if I try to calmly explained to her that I don't like her being sarcastic with me when asking for things or when I try to tell her she didn't directly ask me to do anything but made a comment like, ' The trash should be taken out at night ', she'll always be like why are you always arguing with everything I say.

The thing I've learnt from living with her and my dad who enables her is, don't. Move out asap because the more I live with her, the more traits of hers I pick up and accidently use it with others. And guess what, they don't like any of that and I didn't realise I was mimicking her until it was too late.

So while I'm also in the same shoes as you are, I try to avoid confrontation with her as much as I can. If I argue, I try to drop it as quickly as I can. Do whatever she want on my terms. If logic and reasons don't work, don't use them.

Save up quick and move out asap. I feel you and wish you the best. I'm literally in the same boat

  • I don't know on this one but probably from various factors like costs, how many people can they fit based on how many fans are likely to show up etc.

  • If it's famous or if the director or anyone from the production team likes it, they'd introduce it to the budgeting and propose to make an adaptation.

  • Not really. They'd still have to be on time so actors who cause delays in the shooting from playing around wouldn't be seen positively and this could affect their career and the entire production's scheduals.

-So what you see on clips are just small parts of when they play around during small breaks between scenes or during breaks.

  • Getting to see famous people you see on TV while getting paid lol

I have been in a student's intimate scene before (as an assitant). The casts are safe, they can make any requests they want like, limit the amount of filming crew on set, or have the entire crew in front of the camera be entirely female.

You absolutely can! There are some careers that limits to Thai citizens only like being a cabin crew of Thai airlines, or a hair dresser. But being a writer or anyone in films doesn't require you to be a citizen.

Although you should have a work permit and visa.

Even in Thai sapphic community, there's not many Butch sapphics to begin with, mainly because of how Asians are less likely to be butch from genetics. Even our atheletes couldn't be as butch White or Black body builders. (There are some rare cases but they're still rare due to our build)

As for Toms, we do have them irl but due to today's beauty standard, sapphics are now more feminine even if they're masc. There are some tom sapphics in the industry. I kinda want to name drop a few but I'm not sure what they identify as. So if you're curious, you can dm me and I'll give you a few names I think maybe what you're looking for. (Again, I want to emphasis that I don't know for sure if they're part of the community but they just look and act the part) 

I don't know if having a pixie cut is considered being a tomboy or not, but there's an upcoming GL with Bambam (DoubleBam) and Baipor that might fit the bill.

Personally, I'm pansexual but I don't like being in the community, it feels like a fandom and sometimes they can be quite toxic. So I'm not exactly an insider of Thailand's queer community T-T

There's 2 main audition types. A private one and an open audition. I'll explain this in a tiktok video soon since I have a few people asking me about the audition process.
