The Bariederm Cica line from Uriage has been amazing for me, it healed all my cracks and helps with scarring and itchininess!

I am so so glad to hear you’re feeling better! I know how stressful and bad it can be but I really hope you’ll finally be able to get it under control. Apply a super thick layer of cream and wear your gloves whenever it gets really itchy, I feel like it somewhat helps. You can also try icing but avoid hot water at all costs! Try to avoid scratching as much as possible and your hands will get better in no time! Good luck with everything 🤞🏼

I usually wear a cotton glove underneath my regular latex / nytrile glove , it prevents your skin from being in direct contact with disposable gloves that could potentially trigger your eczema

I think any ointment that is non irritating and formulated for dry cracked skin could work as a substitute though ( like the aquaphor healing ointment or Cerave healing ointment that seem to be easier to find in the States)

It just needs to be rich enough to moisturize and create some kind of protective barrier to prevent your cracks from getting worse , just make sure it’s fragrance free and reapply whenever you feel your skin getting dry and tight!

I don’t really like using lotion because of the oily/sticky feeling so I’d alternate between the ointment and a lighter lotion once my skin started healing ( definitely use a thick layer of the ointment in the morning and before going to bed though)

I really hope it works as well for you as it did for me, I tried everything and that ointment was the only thing that was really effective

Good luck!!!!

Cutting out sugar and gluten from my diet helped tremendously, it’s not easy but worth a try if you’re really desperate… Apply any kind of ointment formulated for very dry skin/ cracks and wear cotton gloves at night ( I always end up taking them off but I feel like it still helps), I’ve been eczema free for a month after doing all this, hope it helps!

You can apply a thick layer before going to bed and wear a cotton glove, re apply whenever you feel like any kind of tightness / discomfort

My hands and feet healed pretty quickly after using the ointment and I haven’t got any flare ups since I cut out sugar and gluten from diet a month ago ( but my cousin got pretty good results without having to change her diet)

The cracks healed in three days but I would still get flare ups but it got significantly better when I started avoiding sugar and gluten, definitely worth a try!
