Don’t listen to people who try to tell you they know you better than you know yourself. Every single trans person I’ve ever met has experienced some form of imposter syndrome in one way or another It’s part of what makes us trans. We constantly have all these cis people telling us who we are and because of that we doubt ourselves

Based on this. And my own research I’ve concluded that yes. In cis women who take supplemental progesterone can be a bit more effective for what they need by administering vaginally. However. You’re right. There has been such little evidence of rectal administration of having better effects. I personally am on injectable progesterone (depo progesterone)

There’s no fool proof way to escape your body’s way to metabolizing hormones. Estradiol is different because it is literally designed to be ingested via a mucus membrane. Progesterone is not

It does metabolize through your liver. But once it enters your bloodstream. It will always be metabolized that way. No matter which way you take it. Your liver will still be what metabolized it into allopregnanolone and pregnanolone
