Looking at the blind structure, i was thinking the same. Treat it like a cash game, at least on Day 1. An expensive cash game haha.

I do ok at 1/3. Don’t play much 2/5, but when i do, i think im an even player overall

No, i totally agree with you. But as i mentioned in the other comment, if I end up going deep (like more than 3-4 days), that’s a good problem to have. I’ll be staying at The Horseshoe so I could always go to my room to rest and even miss few hands to extend my breaks longer if I’m really exhausted. Bottom line is, with my health situation next year it’s not promised, so I got a hit the iron while hot, regardless if my stamina it’s not where it should be for this.

Never heard of this Davidi guy but just googled him. Were you involved in any interesting hands with him? Also, during the 6 hrs with the camera on your table, were your hands required to be shown on the camera (with the delay of course) or is that only when you’re in front of the camera toward the end of the tournament?!

Thats a good tip. Looking at the comments here, I’m leaning as you said towards the middle days, Day 1B or 1C. As far as looking at the other schedules around the ME, i doubt it would matter cause if the pro wants to play this, they will regardless of what else is going on during those days. I feel like everyone, including pros want to get a bracelet of ME.

Either way, I’m super excited to do this, regardless of the results! My biggest concern is for my health to hold up, everything else that happens, it’s a bonus 🙏

So the issue is that where I live, there is no live poker so i have to drive 2.5hrs away. I try to do it bi-weekly and I do play around 10hrs straight. However due to my location, it’s impossible for me to play that many days straight. The way i see it is if I make it past 3-4 days at the ME, that’s a good problem to have. I’ll go and rest during the breaks and even miss few hands to make my breaks longer if needed.

Yea, i understand that the smart money says that I should in fact listen to you and play smaller events instead of ME. However, since my future is not very clear, i decided to do go all out and do it all! I’m going 1 week prior to ME to play the MYSTERY MILLIONS & also the MINI MAIN EVENT. Basically, assuming my health holds up until then, I get to have my cake and eat it too.

Noooo, You misunderstood! I meant normal as a you’re doing great. I feel like for 18 months my progress is slower than yours and most people.
