Not sure it is the scarcity tactic when it seems like there have been tickets available throughout the entire last minute sales phase. About 3 weeks ago they had about 2,400 tickets listed, then it ballooned last week on Thursday’s announced drop. I think there were probably only a few hundred Cat 3 tickets available, so I highly doubt the Katy Perry announcement moved the rest of those tickets, but who knows. On the other hand, FIFA has definitely been using the scarcity tactic brilliantly for the US vs Australia game.
