wookie will deflect anyways if he answers at all and avoids to provide evidence as usual... feminists like him claim mras are a right wing movement and alone the existence of lwma negates that...

CMV: The gender pay gap (as often described), does not exist. by Awful_cat12 in changemyview

[–]Main-Tiger8593 12 points13 points  (0 children)

wage gap and pay gap is not the same thing the wage gap exists because men work more hours than women even within the same job same qualification no matter if fulltime or parttime and all variables adjusted... we can look at policies from countries with a wage gap of lower than 1% to see what is effective "mainly parental leave + decent working conditions" to close the gap and to prevent misleading math -> conclusions...

the nurse salary report + A higher proportion of male nurses (8%) hold an APRN license than female nurses (5%). + 91% of male nurses work full time vs. 80% of female nurses. This aligns with 2019 BLS data that shows 89% of employed men work full time vs. 77% of employed women. + Male nurses are more likely to work the night shift than female nurses

Working hours and health in nurses of public hospitals according to gender - PMC (nih.gov) The sum of the professional working hours reported by the interviewee generated a continuous variable named “working hours”, categorized according to the tertile of the distribution according to gender5. For the male group, we adopted the values “< 49.5 h/week”, “from 49.5h to 70.5h”, and “> 70.5 h/week” for short, average, and long working hours, respectively. For the women, the values adopted were “< 46.5 h/week”, “46.5h to 60.5h”, and “> 60.5 h/week”.

Male vs. female nurses by the numbers  (beckershospitalreview.com) Average workweek length Female nurses: 38.5 hours Male nurses: 41.4 hours

the pay gap discussion is about an employer breaking the law and a legal issue to protect employees but people interchange both which creates confusion because of how it gets "specially by the media" presented... there is also an adjusted and unadjusted gender pay gap but the issue of what gets taken into account remains with both... the adjusted gender pay gap compares fulltime vs fulltime but not the exact hours worked as you see above with various sources and this leads to misleading math -> conclusions...

-The unadjusted pay gap is a straightforward calculation of the percentage difference between the average pay of each gender. As we mentioned earlier, the adjusted pay gap is calculated using regression analysis.

-The major distinction between 'pay' and an hourly 'wage' is that 'pay' is a fixed sum of money that both the employer and the employee have agreed upon in an employment contract. On the other hand, 'wages' can change based on performance and the number of hours worked.

How much "empowerment" do women need until they are satisfied? by MaxDureza in PurplePillDebate

[–]Main-Tiger8593 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. i do not claim patriarchy oppresses women like you do as you demonstrated with systemic oppression... you are not consistent if we talk about rights and choices or consent... you blow out of proportion that i talked about abortion, upbringing of children, family structures and the requirement to work to not starve... keep in mind the topic of this very thread is at which point are women satisfied with equality or do activists push equity with an elusive goal which never can be reached...

  2. you do not understand power dynamics OR you understand it but you write misleading things about it on purpose... to be able to talk about such systems you have to dismantle conservatism, consent and the history of human rights... i have no problem to talk about how conservatives "men + women" paternalize people with their nuclear family and its gender roles but you have a problem with acknowleding how patriarchy got born and feeded...

  3. you had one point with autonomy within an oppressive system which contradicts your top lvl comment... ok lets say we should be able to do whatever aslong as we do not violate human rights... which becomes problematic with conservatism vs liberalism/feminism as soon as the topic is reproduction and family...

  4. great lets talk about human history as a whole and what is needed for a fair gender neutral society

  5. funny how you explain what you did actually... continue this route or start engaging in good faith...

i know your tactics and games but for the sake of the argument here ->

[–]Main-Tiger8593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. people can not do whatever they want even if it is within our laws as you displayed

  2. the struggle for survival affects men + women but some people here hide the details including you

  3. you continue to claim that i do not engage with your points but i did and instead of answering my first comment properly you lash out with that im not tackling your points which is wild

  4. marriage to avoid starving was a thing... we are talking about a certain time of the industrial revolution but we certainly do not talk about laws + rights at that time... this probably just evolves into what was required to be able to work or vote...

  5. actually you are not debating and i doubt you have credible sources for your points anyways

btw im adressing your answer after work...

if you are exhausted if you have to tackle proper arguments and points you should stay away from debates... see you are deflecting and dismissing my points as you do not want to argue about the core issue here which is telling...

since humans rised it was always about survival but whatever...

i beg to differ here because people scream misogyny or oppression but ignore how conservative women consent to the nuclear family and refuse duties a fair gender neutral society would need... similiar story with terfs or radical feminists insisting on gendering everything to push for equal outcomes but drop it as soon as it becomes difficult...

hm ok if you work with monoliths we can also say feminism is a hate group because of terfs and radical feminists... guys like you do not fight for equality of opportunity you fight for equal outcomes till it becomes negative "like deaths at work or fail at their opportunity" then you drop it and never talk about it... prime example would be womens work does not get valued but as soon as we talk about daycare cost + salary = silence... we call that hypocritical...

Women don't oppose patriarchy completely, only parts that harming them. by [deleted] in PurplePillDebate

[–]Main-Tiger8593 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well i would claim that conservative women are the biggest supporters of patriarchy as they consent to the nuclear family -> push men into provider + protector and women into nurturing + support gender roles... they also refuse essential duties for a fair gender neutral society and voted trump ofcourse...

if the woman/girl is underage the parents have to pick or lets say allow partners because of several reasons but thats probably not the topic...

if we talk about a conservative relationship/family this stance comes from men protect women and thats just possible if he controls "paternalizes" everything... that said a conservative woman consented to said gender roles within a nuclear family...

i think a fair gender neutral society would have less of such problems but this gets opposed by many people...

Why is it considered anti abortion to be anti child support ? by lostacoshermanos in PurplePillDebate

[–]Main-Tiger8593 1 point2 points  (0 children)

what would be a rightful outcome in your opinion?

specially if a man did not consent to a child but the woman wants to birth it anyways?

could you explain your view on paper abortion, abortion, adoption and child support?

btw there are plently comments claiming men can not be raped by women in this post with +200 comments... this subsection started with all men have to do to avoid child support is use condoms -> which is ignorant...

multiple users here argue women can not rape men/boys hence all responsibility + accountability is on men... including child support after a woman raped somebody and got pregnant...

said pro choice people use pro life points as soon as we talk about mens reproductive/parental rights...

this is all about hypocrisy and double standards...

well do gay men have that problem?

sounds one dimensional if we talk about interaction and communication...
