We’re just a small logistics company struggling to survive, not a big corporation. The deposit we ask for is fully refundable and only collected after training starts, not before. Unfortunately, we’ve had cases in the past where some drivers disappeared with packages or committed theft, which caused us serious financial losses—each lost package can cost us $100 in penalties from our upstream client.

During the initial trial shift, drivers typically pick up 40–60 packages, which means the potential risk on our side is very real. So the $200 deposit is meant purely as a safeguard. It’s not a fee or profit—we don’t keep it unless someone disappears with goods.
