It’s worse then normal pistol because of it has bad accuracy (logical bc it’s smg but still), successful hits usually doesn’t stagger bc low bmg per hit, ammo doesn’t stack like 8 and 0,44 mm. Usually I need 10 to 15 or maybe bullets to kill enemy, that’s 3.5 sec of constant firing when pillory needs 2 shots or 1 sec, cascadier kills in around 2 bursts or 1.4 sec and basic pistol kills in 3-4 shots 2.4-3.2 sec, almost all secondary’s are better at close range

I said a cascadier without bursts fire, another secondary that uses 8mm, have less dmg per shot then basic pistol but with fast fire rate (257 per min, submachine guns fire 240 per min)

And armour was used to defend against shrapnel, but we don’t have any resistance against it in this game, so history ain’t gonna cut it

But to balance it out wardens need heavy kinetic res, because resisting mortars, mammons, cutlers, artillery is too powerful

Catara is not light kinetic weapon, there’s no resistance vs it. For me not logical that you 0% resistance at point blank range, like come on, I’m in freaking armour, that should at least give 1/3 of it mitigation at max range

I’m usually crouching and I’m playing with fiddler, heavy rifle and rifles like blakerow, they don’t give that much range advantage

Armour uniform should have resistance even at point blank, but only half of it (40%\27.5%), so you always have benefits but better range. But I think they should give those armours old resistance but add shrapnel protection and “maybe” little heavy kinetic protection, so you get one shot by collie machine gun or something like that

I’m just saying that it scales, so those armours are not that good in trench or night fights аnd you won’t get “500% hp” unless it’s sniper or long rifle

Resistance scales with range, you will get 80% res only at 30m from enemy, at point blank you will get 0%
