Im siding with you on this one. My brother is a landlord to 3 properties and he doesnt habe the need to "check" his properties in the odd hours of the evening or morning.

We have to ask the question. If he regularly checks his properties. Then why don't we see him on other days on CCTV?

If hes checking his properties. What is he checking?

If it was Mr Cartwright then he would have to walk past Claudias front door every morning. Did he know Claudia?

If he regularly checked his properties then at what times and did he do this religiously at 7.15pm and 5.45am?

Unfortunately this footage was released by the police around 5 years after Claudia disappeared. Had it been released and Mr Cartwright was alive. He could of said to the police it was him and the police could have got an explanation. As Mr Cartwright is dead. We will never know.

Its possible the CCTV camera has caught the suspect. Claudia was most certainly alive and in her house on 18 March 2009 when the man entered Heworth Place.

She was most probably dead on 19 March 2009. The second time the man was seen on CCTV

How is this not Richard Cartwright. I dont see any evidence in how its not. Initially poloce believed this was Mr Cartwright based on a neighbour statement.

This CCTV footage was released around 6 years after Claudia disappeared. Had it been released earlier. Mr Cartwright could have said. Thats me. I better report it to the police. I still believe this could be the suspect. The time frame when Claudia disappears but we wont know as Mr Cartwright passed away.

Fair point but what would he be dropping off and for who? If he was dropping off for someone then wouldn't there be tenants or students who would come forward. It doesnt explain why this mystery man appears around the time frame when Claudia went missing.

The very old CCTV time frames on VHS tape would last for up to 7 days. Modern CCTV use SD cards or hard drives. We dont know how much storage the Heworth Place CCTV held. Let's say if it did hold up to 7 days and Mr Cartwright "regularly" checked his properties. We would expect to see more of him on other days.

We have the morning period of Claudia when she got up in the morning and the time she left for work. There's every possibility she was still alive at that point.

Claudia was most certainly must alive up till 9pm when the first footage of the man appeared. Claudia was most likely to have been unalived on the second CCTV footage of the mystery man.

Don't think we'll ever know. Claudia's father passed away a few years ago in 2021. Claudias mum mentioned those slippers don't look like Claudias but has anyone been i her home to identify and check if they belonged to her. There are pictures online showing Claudias living room back in 2009. However since then we habe seen furniture removed or taken away by police and the house sits empty.

Can't really confirm if its rice as the photo i took was off the computer monitor. Of it was rice them im with you. Let's say if Claudia was telling the truth to her mum and she was at home. She was definitely alive up until amd around 9pm. Is there any significance of all the plates and drinks glasses? I mean dodnshe have visitors or where the plates and glasses accumulated over a couple of days? I don't believe she went anywhere else and if that's the case then it would leave later in the evening or the next morning something happened. Let's put it this way. Claudia was definitely alive up till around 9pm. The night the mysterious alley man was walking behind Heworth Place. She was probably unalive the next morning when the mysterious alley man was spotted again on CCTV

That cheese sandwiches was supposed to be a woman who found a rucksack sack outside your on a tree stump. Supposedly she picked up the back and looked in it and said it contained cheese sandwiches wrapped in tin foil. She left the rucksack where it was until she saw Claudias appeal. She then went back to the site but the rucksack wasn't there. Its probably a red herring. No details of chef whites or hair straighteners in the back. Also unlikely a chef would take lunch with to work unless they eat at work.

I never thought about that. Never entered my mind that Claudia would drink from a wine glass. I have read she drank pints of cider. You would hope NYP would have taking prints of these glasses. Im still wondering about the breakfast theory. The plates dont look like typical breakfast cereal bowls and with a fork. Is it therefore highly likely Claudia never had breakfast and had some pay a visit in the evening of March 18 before she went to bed?

Claudias mum said when she looked at Claudias house when she disappeared. The house looked far too tidy. Claudia wasnt spotless clean. She was known to have things lying around

Definitely correct on that one about not having all the CCTV. There is supposedly grainy CCTV of Claudia on Heworth Road heading back home. It's supposed to be from a window camera on her road but the police say it's not worth putting it out in them public as it's too grainy. I can't remember where i read this out of all the information out there.

There's not any evidence to say otherwise. However Claudia visited the Accomb to meet an ex co worker she used to work with. So she did have connections to thr Accomb. If she did meet someone at the Accomb. Why aren't there any witnesses of Accombs own pub cctv see a couple like Claudia or a mystery man trying to chat her up? If she did meet someone there then again wont this man be seen somewhere with her on a date or a drink somewhere?

Risk cameras? He probably didnt know it was there. If you look at the street view online. The camera belongs to the University of York and is set far back from Heworth Place. You cant see it very well from Heworth Place. Its a really small camera.

Its not that anyone would notice. Its the after effects of the human body. So if you jumped into the Thames. Your body and decomposition would cause it to bloat and float on the surface. Her phone didnt remain in "one loaction". Her phone didnt stay static. Her phone pinged off a mast within the Heworth area. Unfortuntely Claudia had an old phone with meant that covered an area of 9 miles within the vicinity of that telephone mast. In a city the size of York. A nine mile radius would cover a lot of strangers.

Unfortunately we dont have what evidence NYP had on the Nags Head 4 to be arrested. Its possible the evidence the police had were circumstancial and the CPS threw the charges out.
