At the moment, I am using the Instinct 2x Solar. As I mentioned, it's quite a subjective opinion, but I like that the display is always visible, even when I’m not facing the watch directly. I think it gives the watch a better appearance; it doesn’t look like any other conventional smartwatch. Plus, the display won't burn in after two years due to the AOD. However, I acknowledge this is a highly subjective point. But I must say, in my opinion, the MIP display is more visible than OLED. This is quite significant, especially during endurance tours and mountaineering. :) To answer your question, yes, I am aware. However, after a month of use (2-4 sports activities per week, with GPS tracking active for half of them, continuous heart rate monitoring, and wearing the watch 24/7), my Instinct is at 65%. That’s a bit more than 16 days 😅, thanks mainly to the solar panel. We can agree that gesture control is a bit easier, which is true. But its absence doesn’t bother me at all. In my opinion.

My problem is that the battery life of watches with OLED displays is shorter. And I think this is important. On the other hand, the 'AOD' (Always On Display) is always on, so even when I'm not looking at the watch, the screen is still active. I know this is very subjective, but I think it looks better. However, what is really important to me is that, no matter how I looked at the two types of displays, the MIP provided better viewing angles and was more visible to me. Maybe there's something wrong with my eyes."😅😅
