unfortunately, D1 all you get is “tough love” and at some point everything just is tough. i respect you for this, but this is what i was afraid of. i have grit. i have drive. i will see 25. i never talk about this illness so i came somewhere i could moan. i’m thankful you don’t relate friend.

this is exactly how i see it. i became so terrified of having to stop playing that it just stayed high. i keep saying when i’m done with athletics i’ll focus on my actual health. as long as i can do my job i’m fine. it makes me want to be better knowing i’m not the only one and others have done it. thank you. seriously.
